All this talk about Freestyle Slow Jams, has led me to think about all the other "types" of Freestyle songs...so, what is your Favorite Freestyle Rock song?

I gotta go with "Hearts on Fire" by Noel 🙄

LMAO

Hello,

Are you people really that gullible? To me, it appears Arturo is making fun of the fact that some of you (absolutely) believe there is such a thing as a FreeStyle slow song. So, if that's the case, why not start a thread which, to him and many others, is equally ludicrous?

This is great! *LMAO*

fernando i must disagree this is petty and childish!!!

AS A MADDER OF FACT CHEACK OUT MP3.COM/juan_villarreal next week and i prove there can be freestyle rock..peace..juan v!

Too bad that isnt FREESTYLE ROCK.

Personally, i never would've thought that such a thing as Freestyle Rock existed...but If all the pop slow jams that were listed in the Freestyle Slow Jams thread, can be considered Freestyle Slow Jams, then "Hearts on Fire" by Noel can be considered Freestyle Rock.

in that case, it should be in a different catagory!

Posts about Freestyle Rock belong in the same place as posts about Freestyle Slow Jams...so i guess the Freestyle Slow Jams thread belongs in another category too.

talk to the record companies who have made freestyle love songs or slow jam complilations honey!
aturo admit it there is such a ting as a freestyle slow jam..not everything is filled with dance beats...
it doesnt take away from freestyle music only makes it more eclectic!
think f it that way instead of being so confrontational on a public message forum sweetie..let it go!🙄

well, If i can remember right, Rock can really be anything??? Then again.

Aztlan Undergrand is a tight Rock band, that Freestyles hella good :lol

actually its not ludicrous @Arturo & Fernando. i think there are some freestyle songs that have a rock feel to them. look at "its not too late" - Sequal, that definately had a rock sound. all tha guitar riffs in tha songs previously mentioned. and in almost every uptempo Expose' song there was a guitar solo in tha middle. freestyle is like every other form of music. it doesnt have to be all tha same. there are freestyle songs that have a rock vibe (Sequal), a more soulful r&b vibe (Nayobe, Judy Torres,Planet Patrol), hip hop/r&b & rap (2 Without Hats,Lisette Melendez), pop (Information Society, "thief of heart" - Cynthia,Brenda K. Starr) tha list could go on & on. there's different forms of freestyle as with every other type of music. everything's gotta expand. everything's gotta change with tha times!

sorry to say but NOEL'S "HEARTS ON FIRE" isnt even FREESTYLE. he said so himself. he thought people would not even know of the song because it was so UNFREESTYLE.

No such animal

Freestyle Slow Jam - no such animal.
Freestyle Rock Song - no such animal.

So, if you believe that there is such think as a Freestyle Ballad, then you should allow for Freestyle Rock music.

As for me--
Best rock-sounding Freestyle songs:
"Hooked On You" - Sweet Sensation
"Tell The Truth (Rock Mix)" - Sequal

Isn't that 80's New Wave a type rock music??? If So, what about that group that sings that jam "I Wanna Know" for something like that.

ummmmm, what the hell are you guys talking about. i only understood one posted message on this thread. Fernando, we seem to be the only ones who know our shit. why do people want to change up? do they look down on real freestyle music or something?
