I think mine would have to be Cynthia's on Cynthia: damn, her hair was so funny looking both her and Johnny's outfits on Johnny O..Prince looking outfits...man, lol, and Laissez Faire's Hand's Off, they looked like a bunch of hoes with ratted up hair and cheap fake hand prints everywhere.Man the 80's where strange, it was embarrsing buying em in the 90's. Well the artists are talented that should be what really matters.But still, LOL. LMFAO!:shakinboo

Hey with all due respect I don't care what you say about the rest but Johnny O and Cynthia are off limits to your not so kind comments as they were crowned long ago as the King and the Empress of Freestyle, so they have Royal Family immunity. And as far as the 80's, I would change nothing about it. You think we are so cool now, wait until 10-15 years pass by and then you'll say what was up with those pants, what people didn't have belts for their Tommys that they had to hang half way down their a--.

Obviously you were just a litle kid in the 80's, so you wouldn't have a clue. Cynthia, or any of the other artists mentioned didn't look like "hoes" or any of the other assinine statements you made. I guess droopy pants are much classier to you. 🙄
 
gotta come to angelbaby's defense here. That laissez faire album cover was def outdated before it was released. lol the def did look like three guidette "whoores" that used too much aquanet and had cheesy handprints all over them. lol
 
Listen, we all look back at old pics, and say "what were we thinking"??? But those were the styles and trends of the time. Big hair, ripped jeans, etc etc. I loved the 80's and I get a kick out of seeing that now. I agree with you Perspo...in a few yrs we will be saying the same thing about ourselves. And just remember....those styles always end up coming back at some point!!!

well, i think this thread is all in good fun, though the title is a little harsh! lol! it was hot music, but some of those album covers WERE JACKED UP! i put my vote in for TKA's "Scars Of Love" album. i mean damn...all the eye make-up was not necessary!

You forgot to mention this is your own opinion! There are many people who would say George Lamond or Steve B are the king of freestyle.

Me - no opinion - old school has it place in the bottom of my dusty closet.

If you think the 80's were bad you obviously forgot about the 70's. How many guys you know go around wearing the big puffy hair doos and giant afros in large quantities. Are you go out wear shirts with the wide pointy collars, bell bottoms and the platform shoes? I did that when I was 5 years old. I aint doing it now.
