I listened again, even in the hex hector eurodance version and the mousy vocal in the chorus verse still sounds like "girl i'm disco dancing!" even though indeed it says "girl i'll just forget you".

wow, probbaly my all time favourite freestyle tracks, especially the amazing repetitive mousy stutters/samples in the club mix.
