What was the first freestyle song you heard that got you to like freestyle music,in general?

What freestyle recording artist you believe (male or female or both),
has a great voice?
 
The first freestyle song I heard was Honey to a Bee.But in them times I was breakdancing to planet rock and beats like that.
The song that got me to like freestyle music was Make Noise with a then very young Lisette Melendez in a group called Only in the Dark...



As far as part two of this question,Oh man where do I begin

Ok the female with an outstanding voice is tied with Lisette Melendez,Nyasia and Safire.These three divas have a beautiful voice.
Damn if they were only single...OOPS! That's another subject.sorry y'all.


As for the doods,a tie as well.You know Noel is definitely in there.
The freestyle version of K7 voice I definitely untouchable.
George Lamond is on "fire."

i absolutely LOVE willie valentin,lil suzy, elissa, zoe, johnny o, tka, there's soo many...but the first two popped into my head first.lol 🙂
 
"i remember you" denine. on the way to a club. thought is was gay as hell on the way there. by the end of the night, denine, collage, stevie b and george lamonds were all in my vocab. thank god for that night.i love freestyle, i always will. and for all those who continually bitch about the new stuff sucking, do what i do, download the hell out of the old stuff on the internet. i have created a mp3 playlist that includes 1600 freestyle songs. and u know what. that will last me a lifetime.

I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER THE FIRST SONG BUT IT WAS WAY BACK IN ELEMENTARY WHEN I WOULD GO SKATING ALL WEEKEND LONG AND THEY WOULD PLAY SOME FREESTYLE. I WAS HOOKED EVER SINCE.

I HAVE SO MANY FAVORITES IT IS HARD TO PICK
 
hmm.....FREEZE "A.E.I.O.U." maybe my first, but some dont consider it freestyle but then i would have to say LISA LISA "can you feel the beat"
 
I was always a casual fan of Freestyle back in the day, but it was Lil Suzy's "Take Me In Your Arms" in the summer of '93 that hooked me for good.

Raven you can list more than one in a male or female catagory.
I'm stuck too on this so I listed three of each.

I.O.U by Freeze,damn Kenny thats a classic,I love that song.Shannon,I love all of her songs Bklyn.
I consider it The Godfather of Freestyle,cause this song is the "root" of where freestyle all began,in my book.

Alot of Lil Suzy fans huh?

I would have to say "One Way Love" by: TKA and as for Freestyle Artists with great voices...there are PLENTY!!!
George LaMond, India, Coro, Rochelle, and thats just to name a few.
 
I remember Alisha, Shannon, Freeze, but the one song that got me into freestyle big time was "Hooked On You" by Sweet Sensation.

As for good voices, toooooo many out there to mention.
 
That got me to like it freestyle i think its between TKA tears may fall or Judy Torres come into my arms.
And as far as haiving a great voice :Females: Judy ,Nayboe,India,Marisole
Male: George lamond, Luis Damon, George Anthony, Poze
 
I remember always likeing The Cover Girls-Because of You,and a bunch of Sweet Sensation and Expose songs when I was little, too liitle to know what freestyle was. Then I heard In Paradise by Laissez Faire when I was about 12. I've been hooked ever since.
