I know some of the chorus and i think it goes something like "I NEED TO KNOW FROM HEAVEN ABOVE, WHAT THIS IS IF IT AINT LOVE, OH, OH IF THIS AINT LOVE." It's a guy singing. Any ideas on who they are and what the correct title is?? Thanks 😀

IT'S JAY NOVELL IF THIS AIN'T LOVE ON EMERGENCY RECORDS CAME OUT IN 1984

DAMN I OWE YOU MY 1st BORN

Thanks Ceesil this was driving me crazy. I was pondering this question for 2 weeks. Everybody looked at me like I was a martian, when trying to sing the chorus, lol.

Any ideas if any of the compilations have it? I'm also looking for "In The Bottle" by Up Hill. Emergency label had some tight vinyl.

YEAH. EMERGENCY WAS A GREAT LABEL THAT CHRIS BARBOSA BEGAN WITH SHANNON. I ALSO LIKE "YO LITTLE BROTHER" BY NOLAN THOMAS. ANOTHER CLASSIC!!

THEY ALSO HAD XENA ON THE UP SIDE, THEY HAD ROBIN GIBB SECRET AGENT WHICH HAD THAT SOUND, PATRIS LOVE OASIS WHICH WAS A NELSON CRUZ PRODUCTION, ALSO NOVA YOU CAN DO IT, WHICH WAS A LITTLE ELECTRO, AND JAY NOVEL HAD ANOTHER 12 INCH SECRETS OF THE HEART..PM ME IF YOU NEED A HELP ON THESE SONGS

Thank you much for that info Ceesil. Let's see if you can figure this one out. I need both the artist and title if possible. It's from the late 80's use to play alot when breakin and the original KTU, I know it says either Tram or Jam with a break beat. I'm gonna try to type the chord so bear with me,lol. ta ta da, ta ta da, ta ta ta ta da, Tram(JAM). I reachin but i hope you know what I'm talkin about.

Ceesil, I think I got the name of the song but not the artist. The name of it is Fusion Beats. But still don't know the artist.

I WILL LOOK INTO IT, I HAVE A FUSION BEAT 12 INCH THAT GRANDMASTER FLASH USED TO PLAY, IT WILL TAKE A LISTEN TO IT

Most of the Emergency Records stuff is available on Tommy Boy's "Perfect Beats" Vols. 1-4.
