now the remake of Dreamboy/Dreamgirl, had me wanting to cut my veins, but all in all it could have been worse. I agree if your gonna come out bring out something original, but maybe Cynthia is one of her favorites too you know? But I understand everyone s point on not liking remakes. I would like to remake "Who's Got Your Love" see what it would sound like..lolol but then again maybe not..lolol

I couldn't agree more with ya on that!!

As for the remake of "Change on Me" I actually liked it. The vocals were good.

Hey Naya, if you want someone to do a remake of "Whose Got Your Love" then we should get another CF outing at Destinations and I'll get up on the speaker again and sing. LOL Then again, that would completely kill the song, so I don't think it would be such a great idea after all! LOL

The one remake that first comes to mind that I like better than the original (within freestyle anyways) is Rockelle's "In A Dream", the original is good but sh*t Rockelle's version is one of my all time fave songs 🙂

Nyasia- Great idea. I would love to hear a Deep House/ Club Mix, possibly done by Hex Hector, Johnny Vicious or Thunderpuss. Maybe take it back to the old Paradise Garage days.

I would rather here a 2003 remix performed by Cynthia instead. I can't believe she would allow someone to remake her song, especially a classic. Seeing that she did write "Change On Me" at the tender age of 17 (?).

Actually, I don't think she owns the licensing rights to her old MicMac material...so she wouldn't really have a say.
