Good interview, interesting comments

Well as someone involved with music all dance music today comes from disco. But that doesnt mean it's supposed to sound like disco. what that means is that disco was the art form that used electronic elements in music creation(donna summer "I feel love") and was music for dance clubs. everything from freestyle to techno is electronic music for dancing and dance clubs. Its called evolution things evolve and change overtime. The change in the 80's was the inclusion of electro hip hop & latin which became Freestyle. Joey Gardner also has a great explanation in Freestyle's Greatest beats vol. 1-7 and Jack has included that on the site. Which brings me to my next question for TKA I was wondering what happened to Joey gardner and why he didnt produce TKA's new songs. The album is not bad but i wish the fast songs had a rougher hip hop edge like "Maria" and even K-7's solo stuff, but of course updating the sound. Tybless speaks a lot about the raw hip hop element in dance music but it wasn't strongly present on the new album.
