:bangbang everytime im online i keep getting those pop ups in the gray boxes popping up. its driving me nuts! i have the AOL pop up blocker but it dont work on these ones. does anyone have this porbelm? and does anyone know how to stop it? :angered
 
i use to get the same things i sign on and have to get rid of over 40 pop ups sometimes till i updated my computer since then i have not seen a pop up but i will now since i said that .

i swear i wanna shoot the bastard who came up with the idea of pop ups :mad as much as u try to click on them quik there be times when u get the porn pop ups where it lags the control of ur mouse so that u have time to see that shit like if ur obligated maldita sea cono if u dont close it on time they keep poppin up more and more

So Jack. Whatever became of those instructions???

Everytime I open my "Internet Explorer" browser, I get pop-ups and they end up in freezing up my browser so I have to exit from that program using the ctrl-alt-delete functions to close it down. So far, I only now use Netscape to browse. This also sometimes happens when I open other internet applications such as "AIM". It sucks.

Don't know what the GMAN had in mind but you might try going to www.download.com and getting the AdAware program. This will get the "spybot" cookies off of the puter and should help with the pop-ups. 🙂
 
You ever get those pop ups that cover the whole fkn screen and you cant exit? Its like your freagin traped in some ass holes sales pitch. F4 and the Esc button cant even penetrate the dark forces of this pop up........you got to unplug yo shit and try again...its all bad.

Krystal. I've tried everything. Ad Aware is good but it can't get rid of this problem I have with I.E.

It seem's like nothing helps.

But when I saw Jack G's post, it seemed to me like he knew a technique that you can do manually to make those pop up's disappear for good.

Hmmm that's strange. I very rarely get pop-ups with IE. Of course I guess it depends on what sites you go to also. 😛

Oh yeah!!! I never unplugged my PC though.
