don't laugh or say anything lol... but ok i just got my ears pierced for the first time.. yes i know.. i'm 19 lol...

ok so i dunno what to do with them? i got a stud in with a gun.. and i took them out today so i could disinfect my ears with alcohol.. so yeah.. now i have hard time putting them in lol. the holes are small...

anyhow, how long should i keep these studs in my ears before i could wear other earrings?

sucha silly favour, but i really need your help, no one around me knows or remembers cos they were too young when they got their ears pierced...

thank u so much in advance

Wow baby! 😀 You must look cute! Let it heal for 3-6 weeks 😉

By the way...don't remove the earring! Try to disinfect clean around the area only. 🙂

Yeah 3-6 weeks and keep turning them and dont take them out to clean it, just pour the alcohol over it w/the stud in.

Antonio awww don't laugh at me, i know it's like why now... hehe but i really feel the styles of earrings right now so i decided to do it last sunday 🙂

3-6 weeks with my studs in? alright... i'll try my best, it's so tempting to take them out and put my new pretty ones in 🙂

anyone else thinks otherwise? any help is appreciated, lol this is at first when i'm clueless what to do

ok i used be a beautician and peirced ears. first of all you are not supposed to take the studs out for at least a week. if u remove them too soon the hole closes. with the studs in, you take a cotton swab dosed in alcohol to clean the earlobe. then you apply some bacatracin ointment. you can use any neosporin type cream as well. this has to be doen 2 x a day.
it is gonna be painful now to re open to holes. have someone shove the posts in real hard and keep them in for a week.

monalisa, thanks girl! but i took them out :sosad.. now i can't put them in... aww

aim4night, i'm gonna try now to put them back in.. i'm so stupid.. i dind't know ur not supposed to take them out... only if someone told me 🙁

I don't recommend alcohol. Alcohol dries up the skin. It's too abrasive. Try using "Bactine" solution. 🙂

Also some cotton drenched in "Sea salt" will greatly clean out all the dry crust from the earrings 🙂 Sea salt also greatly heals you faster than the normal.

antonio.. aww where were u when i took them out lol... damn.. i used peroxide actually... it disinfects.. so should work as well 🙂

well we always used alcohol. but bacatine solution is good too. also witch hazel. but the ointment is a must so no infection starts.

i had to take classes in order to be a certified peircer.

thats what i did when i use to wear one i did not get it till i was 18 and took 3 - 6 weeks before i could put my hoop then change to a diamond then to number 23 for Jordan etc lol.

omg finally.. i put them back in.. and i'm not taking them out for a month! argh.. painfull lil modafukas lol

u guys thanks so much i dunno what i would have done without u! u all are faster on reply than the ambulance 😀

ointment is a must? shoot i never purchased it... my friends keep telling they never had to use one.. so i thought to save some $$ :crap

Joe lol.. yeah i can't wait to put my new ones in.. argh they sooo beautiful!

Must hurt like hell to try and put them back on 🙁 I should know lol I had my ear holes closed for a few years and recently opened them for some cute white gold loops :heee Took me over an hour to re-open them...and the pain! :eek

I let them be...only washed them in hot water and used "Bactine" cause Bactine is like a water solution and it stops the itching...and it doesn't sting.

Sea Salt on the other hand is good to do twice a week probably Mondays and Fridays (at nightime) for a deeper cure and super cleansing of the crust that forms on the earrings.

I have pierced my eyebrow, lip etc so most of this stuff is pretty good compared to other medicine that can actually make it worse. Which by the way has had when I used it. :crap Especially alchohol...alcohol is only good to refresh the body when you have a headache lol Not good for punctured wounds...which is what you have right now.

enigma i haven't peirced ears since the 90's so you are probably right about not using alcohol any more. hey they even used sea breze. go figure. the bacatine seems more gentler. but i would still use ointment or did they forgo that old method too?

no no.. they sell it... i just use oxygen peroxide and ZEPOL, it's this balsamic thing lol it's in spanish so i can't read it hahaha

Dayum lol

Yeah it is...works great 😀

but i would still use ointment or did they forgo that old method too?
They recommend ointment...especially Neosporin. You could dab some of it on...but I wouldn't recommend it after you used Bactine. It's good to do a morning and night thing...one medicine for each time of the day 😉

Alchol and Peroxide is the worst to use on piercings...they dry up the skin. 🙂 If you want to heal faster...use what I recommended 😉 Especially the Sea Salt which is best! (By the way...the cotton ball drenched in warm water)
