YOU GOT SENT HOME BECAUSE OF THEM? LOL..THAT'S CRAZY...DO U REMEMBER THOSE PINK MINI FIGURES...THEY WERE WARRIORS AND STUFF WHAT WERE THEY CALLED?...THEY WERE SMALLER THAN THE AVERAGE PINKY.

I used to have them. My school was petty, they did not allow those stickers. It was funny the way parents used to beat each other up for Cabbage patch dolls back in 1983. That was sure good family values.LOL.

LMAO@MIKE...I HAVE THAT SONG ON VINYL..(RICK ASHLEY)...WERE THEY CALLED MINI MUSCLE MEN((still trying to figure out the name of the mini-figures))

I still play that record!!! Love the beat on that song and Together Forever.

Who was better: Debbie Gibson or Tiffany

Tiffany was hot, but Debbie had better songs.

I think Debbie Gibson and Tiffany were both awesome and I really idolized them. And I have to say that looking back, they were much better role models than Brittney Spears and Christina Aguilera are to girls today. Not to mention, Debbie had true talent...she wrote most of her own songs and played the piano. So people can knock Tiff and Debbie all they want, but I still enjoy their music to this day! And I saw both in concert...they were great!

As for George Michael...I have to agree..he had great songs back then...my faves are One More Try, Father Figure, and Monkey.

Rick Astley was also cool...I have his Greatest Hits cd!

Randi (FreestyleGal)

LMAO@MIKE....YES IT'S A SHAME THAT ALOT OF STUFF I HAD DURING THAT ERA WERE EITHER LOST OR DAMAMGED...(QUE LASTIMA)

I know. I'm glad my black Members Only Jacket is lost!!LOL At 7, I wanted a black Michael Jackson coat so bad with The Zippers. But mom got me red instead!! But Miami Vice still comes on TNN. My assistant teacher used to dress like Crockett and Tubbs everyday!!!

OMG...I LOVED MIAMI VICE..I THOUGHT THE GUYS WERE SO CUTE...AND THINKING BACK...THEY HAD ALOT OF EROTIC SCENES FOR THAT ERA..BUT THE SONGS PLAYED ON THE SHOW WERE UNFORGETTABLE.

The girl cops; Trudy and Gina were hot!!!!!!

The Movies of The 80's was; Fast Times At Ridgemont High and St Elmo's Fire. Most of that movie was shot in Georgetown, Tenlytown and part of GWU. When I was 6, me and my mom used walk by the filming of that movie. While I was at a cafe with mother while waiting for my grandfather to come out the doctors office A nice beautiful lady sat next to us. She was nice, she gave me a lollipop. It turned up later that the woman was a then up an coming actress in the movie; St Elmo's Fire, Demi Moore. How cool was that.
