the one with the uncomfortable silences..were we tried to make chit chat...where we werent talking about things we used to..i remember hours how they would fly by and we would talk about everything and nothing..how we would hang up only to call right back..if i ever was down i would hit my speed dail and i was fine with the sound of your voice..the times you called me in tears and i would soothe you..the future became the present and we became friends...just too many things in the way and as the days continued the calls became shorter then more long in between..there was the final "i love you" that was said..then the final call..where i knew i had to face the future with you a memory and evryday that passes you are further behind... I wish I had a magic phone sometimes..so that i could call you in the past to the days we first met..to warn you about the pain that would follow ..to stop it then... but then when i think of our times together..i would do it all again...but its been a while now since i heard from you..i think we had that last call..i wait an check the phone everytime it rings hoping to see your name....and though im tempted to pick that phone up everyday my pride wont let me and i fear that in hearing your voice again..the wounds on my heart may reopen..we had that last call..we both went our ways..and just like every call we made began with a "hello"..and ended with a "bye"
