YO!! has anyone heard about it lately ???
a while ago G.Bush signed a bill for Tax relief for families with kids..
which meant that everyone that has a kid under 17 will receive a tax relief check this year..$400 a kid!! but I have not heard anything lately until this morning on the radio thay said something about the checks will be in the mail by August 1 but I did not hear everything else...has anyone else heard about this Tax relief thingy?? I want to know if I'm getting my check soon or what?or if I'm even getting a check..hehehehe..that $$$ will come in handy right about now..:blah
 
go the irs website- they will start issuing checks the week of july 25th. i think it starts with the last 2 digits of your social- they will be issuing 0-60 this week. so if your last 2 end with 30-you will be this week!!!😉

So you claimed a child tax credit on your 2002 tax return and you think you may qualify to receive an advance payment...

You don't need to contact us. You'll get a check automatically if you qualify! The IRS will figure your advance payment and send any amount due you sometime in late July or early August. If you've moved since you filed your 2002 return, make sure the post office has your new address.


Access this secure Web site to get the status of your Advance Child Tax Credit. You'll need to provide the following information as shown on your 2002 tax return:

Your Social Security Number (or IRS Individual Tax Identification Number)

Mailing Schedule for Advance Child Tax Credit Payments

I WOULDNT PUT MY HOPES UP TO HIGH, YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY FOR IT. NOT EVERYONE WITH KIDS ARE GOING TO GET IT. YOU HAVE TO BE IN THE RIGHT TAX BRACKET. I HEARD ON CNN THAT THE DEMOCRATS ARE TRYING TO PUSH A BILL THAT WILL ENTITLE EVERYONE TO GET BUT AS FOR RIGHT NOW ONLY THE MIDDLE CLASS ARE ENTITLE TO IT. I'LL KEEP MY FINGER CROSS. I DEF COULD USE ANY EXTRA MONEY THAT COMES IN.

HELL I CALCULATED AND THOSE BASTARDS ONLY WANT TO GIVE ME IF I CLAIM 4 NOT 5 AS I HAD FILED OTHERWISE I DON'T QUALIFY. HMPH!

however i could have sworn when i read in the paper about the qualifications that i didnt qualify...i am just going to keep my fingers crossed
