does anyone know what theyre up too or doing because they were very powerful????????????? I know angel cliviles did that remix of show me and had an album, but what happened to the rest??????????????????of both groups

From what I hear, the Cover Girls have reformed and are now performing with three members, not just one (Angel Clivelles). The show in Boston was sure proof that the Cover Girls are back together (at least for this performance).

Angel is now working with new management which means she can no longer perform under the moniker "formerly of the Cover Girls". Matter of fact, she can't use the name "Cover Girls" at all when she performs. Sal from Fever owns the rights to the name and since she is longer with Sal, she can't use it. It was my understanding that Sal was going to put Evelyn Escelera back as the lead with two new girls behind her. But I heard this back in November of last year. Things could have changed since then.

On another note, how come no one ever has any info on Sweet Sensation. We all remember that Margie and Betty were fired and replaced with 3 girls to back Betty D. They even started performing as "Betty D and Sweet Sensation"....very reminiscent of "Diana Ross and the Supremes". Betty was obviously being groomed for a solo career. But then ....poof....vanished without a trace. And every time the name Sweet Sensation comes up on this board, no one ever reveals the real story. Just vague recollections of an unclear story. Someone has to know. And if they do know.....they ain't saying.

Can't they just retire the name, Cover Girls, and put the "former" group to rest? Besides, it just ain't the same. The new members don't even deserve to be called "The Cover Girls".
