For the last three weeks with Kobe Bryant low shoe sales to this alledged sexual assult charge, this deal of Street cred has been a big topic. mainly for the fact that many say he lacks it.

So, lets bring this to music. The subject is two beautiful ladies I love and Hate.LOL.

If we want to talk about so called street cred, I can say it's a no brainer that J-Lo and Beyonce have Street Cred

Beyonce- Despite being raised by two parents who were middle class in Houston TX, she always stayed in tune with urban culture and dates Jay-Z(alledgedlly). And always stay big on Urban radio. So she got good street cred.

J-Lo- Born and raised in The Bronx. Raised by two parents, but living in The Bronx, you'd better have street cred.LOL. But she also is in tune with Urban Culture.

So; the question is, who do you think has the most Street Cred?
 
LMAO! between those two I think Crystal 2001 has more street cred..LOL

don't get me wrong I liked them both. two sistas doing they thang up there, but I don't think either one of them has "Street credibility" they might suggest that they do, but it doesn't come off of them.

Opposites attract, hence Jazy and Beyonce,

I think they are both smart as to who they should be with in order to get further in thier proffessions.

I respect both women and love both thier styles though.

I'm not big into the street cred thing. Either you are doing your thing or not. I'm not a big fan of J-Lo nor Beyonce, but; both ladies do make that stride.😉

I just don't agree with all this street cred stuff. I feel; if you have a tight album, great video, you should be able to sell records. The same if; your shoes look good, they should sell. In my opinion, J-Lo and Beyonce don't need any cred to make music or star in films.
 
OK I SEE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. I LIKE BEYONCE BETTER THAN J-LO WHEN IT COMES TO STRAIGHT UP RAW NATURAL VOCALS.
 
I must say, both of them seem like; they know what they are doing. I have to say though. Beyonce is like... HOT in the Crazy in Love video!!:drool :drool :drool
 
I like J-Lo but I like Beyonce much more. I feel she has a better singing voice then J-Lo.As far as Street Credit goes I have to agree with Nyasia on that one....LOL
 
With the Breakup of Jenifer Lopez and long time Manager Benny Medina, this will be interesting in regard to business ethics.
 
This is way off topic 'cus I used to have love for Jennifer ( I think the term J.Lo sucks) during her first and second albums (mainly for the dance remixes), but is it true that Chris Judd and Benny Medina were caught in bed together and that's why she fired Benny Medina?

If that's the case, what an idiot Benny is! At least take Chris to a discreet location, say, Puerto Rico and !@#$ around there! Damn fools.

As for street credibility, I have to go with Veronica.
 
That's a messy situation there.

This morning I was listening to a morning show here in DC discussing the whole Beyonce vs J-Lo and Street cred. The question they has was; since Beyonce is dating Jay-z(allegedly)does that help her cred? And, since J-Lo is dating Ben Afleck, does that hurt her street cred.

I don't think all this cred really matters!!!
 
Ben & Jen are the new in couple in Hollywood, they are the hottest thign right now, everyone is waiting to see if she's gonna dump himor vice versa.

Beyonce and JayZ, I mean come on already spill the beans ,But I can understand thier need for privacy.

Beyonce definitely has the better voice. Her new Video kicked ass, even though J-Lo in her new Video "GLAD" shows you just why them boys are hot over that body...lol

They are two beautiful sistas with great careers ahead of them.

J-LO is a performer not a singer, Beyonce is both.

As far as the Manager doing Chris, I mean come on dude!!
 
Neither have street cred who you date, how you sing or how in tune you are with the music playing our airwaves does not give a person street cred. You got to live it to earn it 😀
