James A ..Great Job, thanks for including Alisha in there!!!!

I'm not sure what you mean Legend: "Do more rotations like that when you can"....Thats exactly how my mixes are done every week, 18 songs, 55 minutes, never the same song within a 6 week period. that's the way they've always been done...That particular one just had a 'theme' to it. Keep listening.

:yeey NEVER THE SAME SONGS IN ROTATION :yeey

AND THAT TRUE OLD SCHOOL FLAVOR OF FREESTYLE :sround

SETS LIKE THIS WOULD WORK DURING PEAK HOURS SO KEEP PLAYING THIS TYPE OF FREESTYLE AND MAYBE TRY TO GO BACK A LITTLE FURTHER IN TIME

Did someone say Rocco Ragazzo? LOL

I second that, go back, way baaaaaaaaaaaaack :birthday

TOO FUNNY WITH THE ROCCO PLUG....THAT IS THE 90'S AND I'M TALKING ABOUT 1983 TO 1987 TIME OF FREESTYLE...THAT'S ALOT OF JAMS
HE DOES HAVE AN ALBUM COMING IN 2004

James, aside from Babie/Keyes + Chrissy I-Eece, the remaining portion of your set falls under the 40 or so Freestyle Records KTU would ever authorize you to play during 'PEAK HOURS' . The question and true test of loyalty would be to see you highlight the NEW SCHOOL or those singles with limited distribution opportunities instead of obsessing over the OLD stuff.... Keep Freestyle Alive rather than Memorializing it in the tradition of KTU Sunday Night and every three hours!

That is not fair.

If people would LISTEN & RETAIN, you would remember that Johnny Budz (when he mixed that show) posted that when he mixed new school in, listeners would call asking where the songs they knew where, and why are they playing stuff no one knows.

Basically, KTU's programing director was telling Johnny (and now doing the same to James) which popular freestyles songs to play. James is giving himself exposure, and doing what he has dreamed of for some time. To call his loyalty to freestyle into question because he can't play new school is wrong.

I would love it if KTU would play new school, but aside from making requests and emailing the station, there's not much else I can do. Bashing a great freestyle dj isn't the way to go.

Thanks Chuck for stating the obvious.

It's funny how for whatever reason my "loyalty" as a DJ is constantly under fire because my mixshow is 'old school'. Who gives a f*ck, really. My god, I wish some people would stop taking things so seriously, especially what songs go into my show every week. Take a step back for a second and realize there are far more pressing matters in the world than whether James Anthony plays this or that song.

Last I checked, I had nothing to "prove" to anyone, ask any of the million and a half people who tune in between 11 and midnight every sunday. They certainly have nothing to complain about. Case closed. There's your "proof" of my "loyalty".

I'm not interested in other DJ's, other radio stations, other mixshows. I don't care who does what and how they do it. My only concern is doing what I do for my listener base, keeping them entertained, and for making myself happy with my work. I don't walk around thinking about freestyle music 24/7, like I said, there are other things to life.

famous last words: if you dont like it, don't listen....it makes absolutely no difference to me.
