Judy Torres said it's a Greatest Hits CD 🙁 with maybe 4 new tracks.

Cynthia is a single with Robbins 🙂 Hope this works out and leads to an album 🙂

Christina Marie is doing an album.

1999, but if u don't have Cynthia's "Thinking About You", try it out. It's all you need. That's my favorite freestyle album I own. I think that album has been her best work so far. She dropped 5 singles commercially off the album. Took it all the way! A lot of good remixes were on those singles as well as the original long versions of a couple tracks that aren't available on the album.

Hope Robbins can push the single as well as Tommy Boy did "If I Had The Chance".

Safire---Bringing Back The Groove...new versions of all her classic hits plus a few new tracks. Great cd!

Randi (FreestyleGal)

I'm not sure if it is fair to say that Cynthia's THINKING ABOUT YOU album had 5 singles released from it commercially since 3 of those singles were released between the years 1994 and 1997. Remember, the album wasn't released until 1999!

6 months before the album's release, Tommy Boy released the 12" single for "THINKING ABOUT YOU". The single was then re-released by Robbins (with a few mixes that were not on the Tommy Boy single) just before the album...6 months later, "I NEVER SAID" was released as a single. Honestly, as far as I see it, 2 singles were released from the album since "HOW I LOVE HIM", "LIKE A STAR" and "IF I HAD THE CHANCE" had been released 2-5 years prior to the album.

I'm bad LOL. I thought this was a thread about 2002 not 1990's. I bow to Rhoq's information. He's not steered me wrong with titles and dates.

Um, was I wrong about the topic of this thread? LOL

The "Like A Star" version that is included on the album was not included on the 12". "If I Had The Chance" was the lead off single for the album. A lot of artists (even outside of freestyle) release a single quite awhile before the album comes out. But to me, if it's included with the package, it counts. I get what your saying, but you gotta give this woman props for keeping her name alive and holdin it down throughout these years. If it wasn't an album, there was a single, something to hold the fans until the album dropped - ya know!

I understand what you're saying...

Cynthia is a great artist and the last album was not bad for a newer release.

"IF I HAD THE CHANCE" happens to be my favorite Cynthia song!

Yo I agree!

I loved the Tony Moran Old School mix. I think it was so good because she kept her style instead of trying to duplicate the masses. It just updated through the years. No drastic changes, just that natural growth as an artist. All a fan can ask for. Keepit real. Just do you!
