yeah and even on the other freestyle heaven cds there are a lot cuz i guess they put such amazing songs on them they have to even it out lol
 
Sarina Paris has no stage presence and can barely sing! Mystery Man is one of the worst singles ever pressed and Captain records barely sold more then 100 singles in total for all their releases! Although it was over 5 years old, "Mystery man" was including in the freestyle heaven cd series to capitalize on the worldwide success of "look at us now". Having said that, she is one of our fellow canadians and thus, we applaud the effort.
 
vocoder effects

Her album is pure cheese, plain and simple. The vocoder effects make it sound ridiculous. In "Mystery Man" you get a glimpse at her real voice, without the vocoder. Not too impressive, but I can think of worse songs.
 
I've always liked the song. There is a bass mix on "Freestyle's Alive in 95" and it is awsome!!! I don't like any other mixes though. I've also seen her perform and she does not sing it.
 
With so many dissin' the song, I'm almost embarrassed to say: I actually like it 😱 😀

I do, however, agree that the song-writing on it (lyrically speaking) was weak.

I get a lot of requests for Mystery Man at the station, so don't feel bad, you're not alone!
 
u know wut even though i have the freestyle heaven 4 cd i never really listened to that song maybe a few times but im gonna have to give it another listen
