For those of you who like Freestyle dance music listen to the melodic Latin dance music bachata by Monchy & Alexandra,Aventura and Nueva Era.Songs like "Polos Opuestos" and "Hoja En Blanco" by Monchy & Alexandra or "Obesion" "Cuando Volveras" and "9:15" by Aventura have melodic vocals and smooth Latin rythms simular to freestyle so does the group Nueve Era also the salsa songs like "Seduceme" by India and "Que Te Vas" by George Lamond have freestyle written all over them.I would like too see more Freestyle artists who can sing,dance,play their own instruments,dj,rap,salsa,bachata,rock,hiphop and maybe you'll see a rare few that can do all the above.This will gain freestyle artists respect.I think SF Spanish Fly had it right because for freestyle to be sucessful you can have a Freestyle group that sings mostly r&b,dance pop,rock,eurodance,salsa,bachata,hiphop,merengue or whatever but will also have a few really good freestyle dance songs on their cd this will make freestyle popular becase fans of all music genres will buy the mainstream stuff these groups release as hits and discover two or three of real 100% freestyle songs on the cd and get into it.Mainstream artists will do it because they can be mainstream and also have some cool ass urban new york Latin hiphop/freestyle dance songs on their cd and they are not required to release them but will find radio airplay and popularity with a underground following of freestyle fans that will get their freestyle songs played on the radio and at the clubs.I'm sure if this was the case Marc Anthony,India,Beyonce,Chayanne,Jaci Velasquez,Enrique Iglesias,Tamia,Shakira,Britanny Spears,R.Kelly,Monchy & Alexandra,Aventura and others would sing some freestyle on thier albums and freestyle legends like George Lamond,TKA,Cynthia,Coro,Lisette Melendez,Nyasia and others could release straight up mainstream music like dance pop,r&b,hiphop,bachata,salsa,merengue and rock and have mainstream albums while having a couple of real good freestyle songs thrown on the cd for goood measure.This should work nicely.GOD Bless,Omar 🙂
