Rockell - In a Dream, Best freestyle song of all time

Rockell's version wouldn't be anything with out Galaxy!!

just one question. Is the Galaxy Version sung by Jossette?? On the DMA Freestyle Flava (1998) it's titled "In A Dream" by Jossette Galaxy. Is that the real original? I think Jossette did a few remixes, for example Romantic Remix (very good!!).

i like "Tears" as Rockell's best song, but the album version, not the terrible mixes on the single.

I agree with most here, it's one of the best but not the best. We still play it often here in Toronto so that proves something right? I'd have to say her best was the duet with Collage, Dreamboy/Dreamgirl.

josettes version is a great song and definitely one of the best

I disagree. I think the remake was an improvement over the original. For one, although I like a lot of Johnny O's other performances, I don't like his vocals in Dreamboy/Dreamgirl. The only thing the original has going for it over the remake is the classic sounds.

I think Rockell's version is 1000x hotter. The Galaxy version I heard for about 10 seconds and I thought it sucked. Rockell definately brought that track to life. But I think "I Fell In Love" is her best song so far.

there is no comparison between jossette's version and rockell's version. rockell's version just sounds like a cheap remake. i like rockell's other songs though, especially her latest "tears".

my favorite ROCKELL song and one of my favorite new school tracks is her first single from 96- "i fell in love", that song was pretty big in miami. the beat and vocals were hot

It's definitely a good song but to say it was the best would be a stretch of the imagination. With songs like EXO'S Why did you do it, adelis ,as you held me, and many others it would be a tall order to fill.
