I don't know how expensive or how difficult it is, but an Area where members could talk in Real Time would be hot. It's a bit of a pain having to click from Forum to Forum and Thread to Thread to speak to someone or members in general.

Well if you are in the chat room and u double click someones name you can sorta IM them

one day incorporate Instant messaging.

Freestyle Buddy 2.0 will be available for download very soon.

2.0 will Not have instant messaging.. But it will be coming.
We are going to constantly build up the application.

2.0 is just more stable. We added your request.
Also the Actual ALERT function will be in place.
If we have an alert to issue your Buddy will Flash
on the screen.

LoL if you look at the top of the screen on the right side it says Freestyle Chat click there then it takes u to another screen and u choose either to check the boards or the live chat. 🙂
 
how about a voice chat where people use their mouths to talk to eachother rather than just typing...... and typin.........and typing....... (fell asleep, sorry)
I heard that "HearMe.com" has a good web based program for that. Wacha tink?
 
We will look into Audio / Video communitcations way in the future.
That cost mega bucks in bandwidth and membership here is free.

We did that In House. I produced Freestyle Buddy along
with a high-tech pal of mine.
 
Dayum...we get to see Freestyle Buddy grow very our very eyes. 😀 Coolz. I love this CF device!!!
