In NYC handling my biz!!!!
On Sunday I was on the phone with Kenny Guido. My daughter had gone outside to walk our dog and after walking the dog, she told me that there was a very small kitten stuck under a car. When she passed by the car she heard the kitten giving out a scream. After hanging up with Kenny, I tried to call the Animal Humane Society to see if someone can come and rescue the kitten but I was put on hold for a long time. My daughter grew impatient and said to me that she was going back to try and save it. She told me that the kitten had been there all night because when she was coming from the store, there had been 2 girls trying to get the kitten out. So she left because she felt that it was theirs and they would save it. My daughter came back upstairs about an hour later and told me she saved the kitten. Her clothes were dirty and she had this look on her face like she was very happy. There had been an older woman coming from church and asked my daughter what she was trying to get from under the car and could she possibly help. She explained everything to the woman and the woman assisted her the best that she can. My daughter saved the kitten after struggling with it. She said it gave her a little fight because it was scared. But when she got hold of it, she put the kitten in her coat. The woman asked her if she would keep it and she told her she couldn't because my son and my husband are allergic to cats. So she asked the woman if she wanted it and the woman took it. She asked my daughter what was her name and my daughter told her "Xiomara" but that everyone calls her "Xio" (pronounced C.O.). She said she would now name the kitten after her. My daughter felt proud.

Sorry for the long story. I know it's a lot.

Do you have a real story you would like to share with all of us? 🙂

Ahhhh....that's a sweet story...your daughter should be very proud of herself, she did a good thing.

Yvette, I agree, it was a wonderful thing that she did by helping out a kitten who is basically helpless, it shows that she has a very kind, compassionate heart.

Kenny probably stuck the cat there!

hehe.

Great story, your daughter is a lil cutie!

AWW that is so sweet of your daughter.... shes truly has a heart of gold... 🙂

That is so sweet, I know what it is to safe a cat.

It makes the person feel good. There was an abandoned kitten by my house window a couple of months ago I took her, but I could not keep her well I even went to a pet shop and they would not take her b/c she was a stry so I keep her and I called my sister and asked her if she wanted her since she wanted another kitten and I named her Hazel and the next day I took her to my sister house and now she is beautiful and big.

That's a great story Boop! That was really sweet of your daughter to do, and it also reflects on you as a mom and how you've done a wonderful job raising her. 🙂

Thank you Dreamgirl for the compliment. 🙂 I try to be a good mom.
