Look at it another way ......I am a family/criminal lawyer and it is hard as hell for a man to adopt another mans child. I have been through so much drama with my clients. You think babies mama drama is bad? You haven't seen anything until you have seen the baby daddy who hasnt seen his kids in 5 years stand in front of a judge and say hell no to the man who has been a real father to them when he asks the judge to allow him to adopt the kids. Most men have nothing against women with children, it's just that the what ifs sometimes out weigh the what if it doesnt. How would you feel if you invested all that time and energy getting to know a child and treating it as your own only to go to court and have a deadbeat father take control of the situation? It's a reality...it happens and it is very scary!!!
Just wanted to show the legal side of it....children are part of the package....if a man doesnt want the child, then he isn't good enough for the mommy!!!!!

i haven't been on here for a bit but this topic is very interesting. i go through hell with guys when they find out i have kids. they begin to think that they can get some booty easily and then when they notice they ain't going to have any luck they bounce. what's up with that?? oh well... it's their loss. i'm proud to be a mommy though. 😀
 
i say yes, but truth be toid...can NO MAN replace a childs Bio Father. i have 2 kids of my own and im only 28 but ill be damned if another guy tries to take over my kids... anyway last month i dated a girl who has 1 kid it was NOTHING really it was just a good months time but if a man/woman are TRULY interested in establishing a REAL relationship, the lines must be drawn at the start and both parties ESPECIALLY the man will AND Have to be willing to take up on that responsibility whole heartedly and with nothing but the best intentions. so i say Yea! but maybe for "good Time"

Yeah, I'd date a woman with a kid. I wouldn't let a DAMN BABY get in my way! 😛 But really.. If I was really interested in the woman, I'd give it a shot and see how it went. If the kid(s) and I got along, great. If not, then I'd move on...

As long as you're comfortable acting as "dad" if the relationship leads to marriage, that's all that matters.

Wow..this poll originated in 2001...and I see that "poser" Jack had to "edit" the answers (what a putz).

Well, WHEN I was single, a girl with kids was strictly for fun...since I didn't have kids of my own & eventually WANTED kids, it was a HUGE turnoff.

Now that I'm a x2 dad..if I were to ever divorce, its something that would have to be considered in this day & age...the older we get, I imagine the harder it would be to find a kidless woman my or around my age.
 
Seems like MORE DIVORCE HAPPENS than anything else today and thats sad 🙁
