Do you think it is fine for a man to still live at home with their parent/parents. And try to save up $$ for a house, or should they be out the house give money to someone else and take three times as long to get their own house?

I Dont Have A Problem With A Man Living At Home, If He Is Still Doing His Thing But Stays At Home To Help Out And Save Money What Is Wrong With That? I Actually Hope My Kids Dont Wanna Move Out As Soon As They Turn 18.

If mom and dad help you out then you do what you got to. No one can knock you for saving for a house. If I had that choice I would do it. No one can question your manhood for it. SHiat at least you working not living off of them.

I know a guy who's like 45 still living at home. I think thats a little extreme. I mean at most 30 maybe, but you gotta go out on your own sometime in life. Your parents cant support you forever.

Thanks for the answers. But she's truely not supporting me. The last 2yrs I finally able to save, cause the yrs before I was living check per check. Yeah I know I'm a cop, but the last dept. we made peanuts. Not I finally made it. 😀

Im 28 yrs old and I still live with my parents. I enjoy being around people and I dont want to live alone. When the time is right, I will move out. So I dont think there is anything wrong with u living at home.

i know a guy whos almost 50 who lives with his parents, after he got divorced he moved back in

I dont find nothing wrong with it .. If you trying to save up and all .. But if they want of those guys that is home just cuz they want to use there money for there cars and to dress good and all then you not doing it on your on thats what you call a mama boy cuz you are really living off your mom and dad you feel me thats how my ex man is and I tell you I hate a guy like that but if you trying to do it to move up in the world then hey is nothing wrong with that ...

Me my self I like to live on my own and thank god I got my place I move into it this week ... Is nothing better then the feeling of living on your own doing your thing and dont want to answer to anyone then your self you feel me ...

it's fine if you set a goal and a desired move out date. i know some people who live at home for medical reasons. but if you just plainly do it so u can be waited on hand and foot like my ex bf, then u r a lazy bum.

my brothers doing that he's living at home saving up for his own house i dont anything wrong with that

I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as the person helps out their parents.... through them some money too and of course, help around the house.

This economy is horrible and we need all the help we can get.

Good Luck Latino!!!!

as long as you help around the house with costs, repairs and also have your own sense of privacy (incase u gonna bring home a fine moma to twist out) there should be no issues about living with your parents. In Long island (where I live) in order to afford a house, 2 cars and live comfy, each person (hubby n wife) are expected to make $125,000 each per year. That's a lil insane, that's why so many are moving upstate and down south, cuz metro & subarb N.Y is pretty much for those who bust their ass to make ends meet & work 2-3 jobs to make it happen..... So in the end, have no shame unless u care what any if the woman think ( I know alot who won't date a guy who lives at home..)

I'm 35 and living at home.

I was stupid and during my college years, racked up credit card debt while working a part time job.

I have just recently gotten out of debt. Managed to save enough to get a new car. And for the past two birthdays/Christmases asked for stuff like pots, pans, dishes and glasses, a dining room set, and things like that. I have it all in the basement, and when it's time to move out (hopefully by mid of next year) I'll have stuff to survive with.

chuck i am still payiing off the credit card debt that i racked up with ex gf and shes been out of my life 5 years plus i have my college loans coming in 6 months 4 yrs worth
