It is indeed very sad. He will be missed by many. I myself was brought up a catholic and have kind of grown away from the church for a few reasons. But I believe his passing will have many people analyzing their spirituality. But no matter what religion one might be, there's no denying Pope John Paul II was a great man- charismatic, big time humanitarian, who's love and faith is an inspiration. He'll be really hard to measure up to. His knowledge of languages alone is amazing.
 
So the funeral will be this Friday at 4am Eastern Time
 
Yes RIP! I had a chance to see him in 2003 and it was a moment I will never forget. My heart starts beating when I think of that moment. His last word was AMEN....🙁
 
Well I had the chance to see him when he came to Toronto for the last World Youth Day...an experience like no other...I missed the mass because I left for Europe the day before but I got to see him a few days before the mass when he did a blessing in a park down town (10 mins from my house)
 
They are expecting 2 to 3 million pilgrims in Rome to see the "people's Pope" one last time...that's an insane amount
