Im Gonna Explain 2 Yous Why There Were So Many 1 Hit Wonders And Then The Artists Dissapeard.

You Had Back Then 2 Types Of Artists,
1. Those Who Did Thier Song,Made Thier Money And Bounced And Did What They Wanted 2 Do.Never Wanted 2 Pursue It As A Prolonged Career.
2.Those Who Did Maybe 1 Or 2 Songs Then Got Di**ed By Thier Label As Many Artists Did Back Then.
What Can U Do Sh*t Happens. Alot Of Freestyle Artists Were Regular People In The Street,Chillen With Thier Boys Or Girls And Producers Just Came Upto Them And Said " Hey U Wanna Sing? " They Got Offerd Whatever Amount Of Money 2 Drop A Track Then What Was Sold Then Didn't Get Nothing More After That. Thats How Alot Of Singers Who Were Signed 2 Micmac,Metropolitan,Etc Etc Etc Came Out.Thats Why There Were So Many 1 Hit Wonders.

really, i just heard that the producers wouldnt care how much talent these one hit peeps would have just as long as they can get someone signed to get paid their grand. they basically signed people off the street. they made freestyle stink and sink at the same time. and after that shit happened, and having big time labels witness the situation, people who were making real freestyle music were getting dropped by their labels just cuz they had one bad song that didnt do too good as their last, it didnt even matter if they even had numerous hits...they were cut off. tka is mad lucky.

As a producer, i believe theres many reasons why there are one hit wonders ... I've also seen artists change and get "big headed" and turn really ugly .. Its not a pretty site, and they lose their focus on what got them there in the first place .. Everyones different in this industry, but the more knowledgeable ones survive alot longer .. randy

yeah, im sure freestyleking, but tka in the past has released some stuff that couldve made them history, stuff that wasnt freestyle that was pop, like george lamonds album in "92" in my life, that album hardly had any freestyle in it but the few freestyle songs in there did excellent but unfortunately they stopped making the album and GL was dropped from his big time label, Columbia. now, compare that album to tka's "louder than love" (which is still in makes due to their great "scars of love" success) one and youll see what i mean when i say luck. and not only that they left at a pretty good time when they couldve been dropped as well. they didnt really want to go pop all the way because at that time that was like the only way to go and if they wouldve chances are they wouldve been dropped as well because the group didnt really emphasis on that shit. so to not take any chances with being booted they just retired. peace!!

by the way the "in my life" album he released had released a few pop songs from that album that didnt do too good. tka on the other did the same and did just terrible but they were in good shape cuz they had history to fall back on. GL came out kinda late at a time when music was changing and most of these artists werent so good in doing this and just either went with it, or just left it , or was booted.
