Just wondering if anyone found out about refunds for the PAID ticketmaster holders that were turned away from the club exit for parti gras 2003.. it was ridiculous that we were turned away with advance tickets, menawhile anyone off the street with a preferred short skirt and low cut top was able to get in..

WHAT IS THE DEAL KTU

I heard on KTU that if you still have your ticket, weather it is it one piece or ripped up, you can send it into them and they will give you tickets to Beatstock for free....you might wanna call them up and ask about it 800 245 1035

THE FIRST BEATSTOCK WAS BANGIN .....ALL DOWN HILL FROM THERE!!

DON'T BOTHER..WAIT FOR THE SMALL SHOWS!!

This Years Beatstock will hopefully be jammed with Freestyle acts like Parti Gra was.
KTU should consider adding a few quality new school artists in the BeastStock lineup.
The people who paid in advance and couldent get in to Party gra deserve that.

I feel confident that KTU will do it's best to Hook It Up!

i went last years BEATSTOCK and i was pretty impressed with the show...in addition to the bangin freestyle acts, i also go to check out new acts at that time like perpetuous dreamer. the PNC BANKS CENTER was packed with beautiful women.

I think KTU should refund anyone who had purchased tickets and were not able to get into Exit. That shit is just too ridiculous for me to comprehend. The fault lies on both parties, KTU and Exit. KTU should have hired people to be at the door to allow those that had tickets immediate entry. And Exit, knowing that it was a "huge" event should have been prepared for all this drama. It's truly pathetic that females in tight skirts and bangin' bodies get the attention of these bouncers as well as the dudes that "come off" like they are better than everyone else. Shit shouldn't work that way but it does. If I was at the club that night and I had tickets and could not get in, the first thing I would have done was asked to speak to the manager. If that didn't work, I'd be on the phone the next day with a reason as to why their staff is so damn ignorrant. I've been to club Exit for several shows at the problem always lies within the lines at the door. God forbid you wear nice fitting jeans and you're a guy and the female in front of you with jeans glued to her body gets in.

wait a minute.....as to my understanding there were 2 seperate lines:
1 line for ticket holder and 1 line for people wanting to buy tickets. after you went and bought a ticket from the club, you were then given instructions to go wait at the end of the line. many people had friends waiting on line so when they purchased tickets, they easily jumped back on line. its not KTU's fault whatsoever.

The solution should have been that the number of tickets to be sold shouldn't have exceeded the number of people legally allowed in the club.

If Exit's legal number of people in the club was 1500 people, the 1500 tickets should have been sold. After that, any other people would be told "Sorry, the show is sold out."

After the fire that took place in the club in Rhode Island, where 97 people died and they determined that the club was overpacked, you'd think the owners of Exit and their employess wouldn't be so STUPID and CARELESS with the welfare of their customers.

actually when i got there ticket holders & those waiting to buy were both on the same pathetic line. I thought there were two & walked up front & was told "one line, this is for VIP with passes only" thank god Nelson saw me & let me in ahead of that crowd. It may have changed aftr I got there but at 8pm it is one lng pathetic line.

Chuck, I agree with you 100%. It was so overcrowded there you could barely move. I actually got fed up with the amount of under 21 chickenheads there that I ended up leaving early. I really do believe if this had been 21 & up, the event would have be much better. All the artists gave there all & i am not denying that but it was most definitely over booked. I left around 11pm & there was still a line around the corner!! Tell me HOW are you still letting people in at 11pm when the doors opened at 8 & you could barely move in there as it was?

**shrug**

I likemy little Queens clubs LOL

Why did they still have a line at 11pm if the club was "supposedly" packed? They should have told those people to go home because they weren't letting anyone else in. I still feel both parties are to blame. Lack of communication is what it all comes down to. Someone wasn't doing their job. But whatever, the show's over and done with. Let's push things forward.

well, the club didnt close its doors until the NYPD came and shut the doors down themselves. I cant rememeber the time i saw the police enter but they came in fast and furiously.
