i first heard my first freestyle song ' don't break my heart ' by SAFIRE. Wow , how times flies!!
i was 18 when i heard the song on someones boombox in my old neighborhood of spanish harlem (el barrio) and then to hear that she was from my neighborhood really blew me away.
wow - nearly 20 years ago, my fascination with safire and this genre of music began. who would've thought, that i would still be a fan so many years later. who would've thought that this music would cross soo many peoples paths, all across the country and around the world.
thank u safire, tka, nayobe, sweet sensation, cover girls, cynthia, judy torres, noel, george lamond and others for your hard work and determination. I knew times were very tough for u all , but thanks for sticking it out. i hope you all knew the gratitude that we fans have for you. thanks for the memories. we the fans, appreciate and are eternally grateful for all you have done.
