Ok, when was the last time that you were hit by a great stroke of luck? Something that just happened by chance?


It happened to me yesterday. My buddy Scott came in from Pa., and we were gonna do lunch, hit NYC, and then order pizza for dinner and watch "Charmed" (he'd never seen it).

Funds were kinda tight for both of us, but he is moving to Erie Pa. end of November, and this may be his last chance to come to NYC for a while, so we decided to go to NYC and not worry about the cash we would spend.

I picked a local diner for lunch, and pulled into the parking lot. I got out of my tracker, and happen to look down. On the ground was $100.00!

No one else was standing in the parking lot, it was just me and Scott, no way to figure out who's money this was.

We ended up not spending any of our own cash that day. That money paid for lunch, tolls, parking, drinks in the Stonewall Bar, and pizza that night.

Hmmm...nothing like that, but there is someone that I do call cupid or my good luck charm, even though she was indirectly involved. Oh and then a few weeks ago, I went out for lunch with my coworkers, and right outside the building, there was a dollar. LOL So not a lot of money, but hell, it was the day before payday, and hell yeah I grabbed it! LOL Didn't get me much, but it was deff needed! LOL
 
wow chuck thats great!!!! nothing like that ever happens to me so my saying is..... if it wasnt for bad luck i would have no luck at all!
 
$100.00 bucks, huh? That's a lot of money, esp. when it's free. I remember back in the mid 90s when I purchased a lottery scratch off tkt for $1 and that puppy got me $100.00 back. Almost to the day a year later I bought another lottery scratch off tkt and won another $100.00. I was like wow!! I haven't played since.
 
Chuck this is so weird but TRUE! One day last summer, my mom and I went to our favorite local DINER here in Brooklyn. We parked in their parking lot and as we started to walk, we noticed a $100 bill on the floor...then another..then another...then another!! I think there might have even been more but someone picked them up first. Well anyway, we found $400! Do you think there is a diner fairy somewhere throwing down $100 dollar bills? lol This is too funny! And yes, it can make your day!!

Yup! I won a million dollars and quit my job on Friday (YEAH RIGHT I WISH DAMN IT!!! :lol).
 
About a month ago, I was food shopping, and purchased roughly $50 worth of food...the store was crowded and there was only one cashier working and she was rushing to put the items in the bag...she miscounted and charged me only $15!

Wow, you were truly lucky that day. I hope that happens to me :lol. That would be wonderful, especially if I found myself broke. 😉
 
Gotta love and treasure those moments. It's moments like that which makes one day. Here you thinking about how things will go then suddenly things are made a bit much easier. 😀

I had special moments like that...very extraordinary thats fo sho! 😀
 
Now, y'all pass some of that luck my way...please??? I'm gonna go tommorow and buy me some mega-millions tickets.
 
Damn, reminds me of when I was like 5 years old, I saw some old guy drop $500. He gave me $5 for being so honest...my mother took it to buy cigarettes...oh well...
