I personally Have Alot Of Acapella , Dubs , And CLub Mixes........Ripped Into Mp3 Format Only For Sharing.......I Enjoy Sharing With people I Have Bought Alot Oif Freestyle Cds ......Have Hundreds Of Them,......But I personally Liek Mp3 ....On;ly b-cuz it saves a song in future in cases of the reareness of a song u can get it on comp......Which Is Alot Better Than A Vinyl........which people are trying to make such a big deal out of .....when personally vinyl is not that good.....
 
^ JUST REMEMBER WHERE MOST OF THE MP3S COME FROM: VINYL. NOTHING BEATS VINYL. REAL DJS AND COLLECTORS KNOW THIS. MP3S ARE POOR IN QUALITY, AS IS YOUR TASTE. 🙂

Absolutely! 😉 Most of the old Freestyle classics records were available only on vinyl. So your MP3 format are a kind of MP3 vinyl format!!! LOL. You can have a better sound/quality if you rework your file on software as Cubase or Sound Forge (to name a few) . Do you do that each time you have a new MP3 file?

Personally the sound of a MP3 file sucks, the quality is so bad...except when the source is a CD. It's better but not excellent.

MR FRANCIS, I DO NOT COLLECT MP3S. I HAVE JUST ABOUT EVERY RECORD I THINK, SO WHY BOTHER? I THINK YOU REALIZE THIS THOUGH. MP3S ARE GARBAGE WHICH ONLY AMATEURS WOULD "COLLECT"

Its just my opinion.I know that a lot of people have to pay top $$ for some records and others get the mp3 for free and share it with everyone.Especially some guys,who have acapellas,dubs and club mixes.That is just not right!!I maybe feel that way,cause i am a collector too and have spent lot of time and money or rare records.It just gets me upset when others get that stuff for free,especially if they are rare.

Don't trip bro. It was just a misunderstanding. I know you're a vinyl collector as Francis pointed out. As a freestyle collector (besides vinyl), I do buy cd's and I can see how unfair it would be if someone were to download the same songs on that cd on the internet for free. But for me, I guess I came to the understanding that I'll be happy as long as I get my copy of my favorite freestyle music to add to my collection. To me, it's the freestyle passion that is keeping this industry alive.

Thanks for kind offer but I already found someone who was thoughtful enough to send it to me. It feels great to know that there are people out there who are willing to share the same passion you have minus the greed.
 
About the issue concerning Vinyl's vs Mp3s:


There's no need to diss one or the other. Vinyls are great. They come with great quality but unfortunately, they are very limited in certain geographic locations in the world. That's why people turn to the next available alternative which are cd's which most of the time are either albums, compilations, or mixes. As much as the amount of cd's available, it's still possible that people don't find out about a song or an artist until their album or song is no longer available for distribution (as you can see with my example on my search for a Korell song in which the record label no longer exist). Then you have your last alternative choice which are mp3's. The quality of mp3 may not be as good as cd or vinyls but as a collector, I'm satisfied with what's available even if it's as quoted "garbage". I also realize that freestyle music got more popular through word of mouth either through freestyle websites, freestyle chat, or P2P. Buying cd's or vinyls alone will not enhances your collection. Talking to people and learning more about what artists are good and what's songs are out there is the best way to upgrade your collection. That's just my interpretation of what it takes to be a freestyle music collector. So let's just end all this debate over whether mp3 or vinyl is better. A war over in Iraq is enough so why start the same type of chaos here. Peace. One Love. Freestyle Rules!!!

Personally, I'm collecting vinyls...and I think it's the best thing to support the artist, especially for the new stuff. Once again, for the old stuff, it's an another debate. I really don't care if you have it on MP3.
