You are not alone, and my friends and I (fellow freestyle freaks) all used to complain about it too. I dont know of anywhere in the NY area where you will go and they will play Freestyle for a whole night. Like you said, you are lucky if you get 5-6 songs in a row. I even remember a couple of years ago "Culture Club" was advertising a "Freestyle Night", I dragged my friends to the city and we heard some freestyle for maybe an hour or two and then back to the same old bs, rap, hiphop, what ever you want to call it...again! Face it, our time is over, and we gotta enjoy whatever little they play for us I guess. That is why I stopped even going out dancing because it was a waste of time and money to listen to music I didnt even want to hear. The only time you are going to hear freestyle all night is the two or three times a year they have a Freestyle show at like the Copa, or something. Otherwise.....forgetaboutit!!

I agree....we always say that....when they play freestyle, everyone goes nuts and packs the floor, but maybe thats cause it is rare for them to play it and if they played it all the time no one would be excited about it.

here is what im getting At I'd accept all those points and Arguements.,,. that hip hop is now freestyle is then,.,., And i'd accept that have to Play whats Hot. But If thats So? Heres my problem,.,.,.

How Come Disco clubs can survive ""all nite"" on playing nothing but stuff from 75 to 82,.,. thats the reason why i cant accept,.,.the hip hop arguement no matter how ya feed it to me,..,., Cuase there are hundreds of clubs here in nyc are that will play Disco All Nite.

So that means? there fan base is strong enuff for that? So where's ours. We have enuff Fans for At least One freeking club.

2.) Solution why not like i said in miami. there whats called private clubs,.,. you pay 3000 dollars for hole year,.,. in our case we can pay 500 for 5 years. you get 4000 poeple llllolll,.,..,and thats your club ! D J payed ,.,.,.And Crowd or No crowd.,.,,.

It destroys the need To Cator to anything.

We could at least have one somewhere in nyc. closest i came to it was extremes in the bronx. In moshulo. i love freestyle so much. that i braved the south bronx to go for 2 years.,.,.,.OOOOOOOOOOOOnly cuase they played if i was lucky 5 freestyle songs in a row.

so anyway,..,,. we make a private club,..,..where people can come,.,.,. but its payed for ,.,.,.,. no matter what happens.,.,,.

also i think Hip hop is paper tiger,..,., and people don't like it that much.
 
i dont know it seems as if our interests in freestyle are casual at best. but def not as strong as hip hop. and,.,.,.def not as loyal as disco,.,.,.freestyle needs a leader,..,llllolll,.,.i'd lead you guys to victory over hip hop any time. llllolll,.,.,.

the problem is people need to leave their houses. or else how can you support freestyle. i wonder if maybe freestyle brings back so many good memories that people just wanna bury it,.,.,. cuase they dont wanna feel to good again like we did in the 80's.

Listen up buddy......Your over the hill...leave the clubs alone. You're complaining too much ! Hip-hop isn't going nowhere at the moment...I feel you on the subject that must club caters to hiphop more then club music. But know you have reggeaton wich is also catching on fire.. you have merengueros doing it, the mexicans etc.. what im trying to say is that....music is always growing ... I bet some of these freestyle singers will probably jump on the reggeaton bandwagon.. "IT'S ONLY RIGHT" HEHE

Ummm The way this industry works...is this. the voice of the people. They need to know whats hot from the people or else they will decide for you. If no voices are being heard then no freestyle will be heard its that simple. And they dont wanna hear nothing from the industry..they want to hear it from the people. you dont tthibk they know that the freestyle industry wants freestyle to get played. lol. thay need to hear the people requesting it. What ever is in demand is what gets played, and if freestyle was in demand, then we would have no problems. Speak up or shut up people, theres no use in complaining about whats going on if youve taken the back seat to this freestyle cliff jump. You want to save freestylw music and make a difference? then hop back in the drivers seat! if not..... Close your eyes and brace yoself.

Well you want the public in that club for the sake of freestyles survival and popularity. But yeah hella members runnin the joint is a great idea. You dont even need to own a club, you can rent out a hall and call it freestyle night each time its yours, charge 10 at the door and bam. How ever if yall get your hands on a club that would be FAT!!! I hope your dreams come true. The 1st step is to take action , any action , phone calls for info, Book Some DJ's any thing to get the ball rolling. thats how goals and dreams come true. i hope the best for you guyz.

Yall should name it "CLUB FREESTYLE" Ya heard?!? UhHHhHhHH Holla at a palya!
