Whatever happened to Monet? She had some phat tracks back in the 80's.

hey that MONET album was HOOOOOOOOOT! every song on there was slamming! those phat hard hitting chris barbosa latin hip hop beatz were dope... and those vocals of her's were great! i recently heard that she lives in florida and sings gospel......i always felt that MONET never got the recognition that she deserved.

i agree - "come on to me" & "my heart gets all the breaks", were both great dance songs. i never saw her perform & i'm not sure that i even know what she looks like.

but i did enjoy her music.

I found out earlier today after I did a search for Monet - Leave The Lights On, that's also how I found out about this site.

I hate to upset anyone but I just did another search for Monet - Essence and discovered that it's not the Monet we know! Apparently it's a jazz/r&b type cd plus it said it's their "debut" cd. This pisses me off, that other site I saw it listed at had it listed with the Monet that we like!

I agree to "Come On To Me" were and are great dance songs.Monet was realy amazing singer (i dont know that do you think but i think that she's great singer)
 
Jimi Tunnell (chorus singer) made Monet and Shannons songs incredible!!
