Damm I wish I had a voice to lay it on some tracks for the next MKG project. MKG, NU IMAGE.... go for it!! The attitude going forward should be "Whatever it takes!"

In the time I have spent on the boards I have seen some great ideas come to a crashing halt due to someone have a disturbing opinion or just the lack of interest. I think what MKG and NUI are envisioning would be a great accomplishment. I would just hate to see it thwarted before it got a chance to start. Remember not everyone needs to know everything that's just good business, fans or not. Sorry if I'm pissing people off cause anyone who knows me will tell ya I have supported this Genre thru what ever and by any means available. But it's just facts.

Ted,

U are 100% right and I know you are looking out for us as Tony and I was on the phone and he said you are mad kool and you have seen crazy drama on CF.
My point on this matter was to bring everyone together and get some positive responses. I'm sure the bashing or negative sh^t will follow but we don't care. We just want to let evryone know what we have in the works and it will be carefully planned out. When I put my head to do something, nothing and nobody could stop me. I didn't want to wait until everything was planned out because it will be a last minute thing and we also want to put some excitement and hope to artist, producers, promoters and the fans. Anyone could take my idea as it's not copyrighted..LMAO..... But we are only giving information that is important for CF to know but we will not give our plan of attack on this project.. That is why it WILL be a success.. Remember, I'm from the old school and know how the music industry really works and how the snakes, rats and rabbits operate.. We will give info but I gave enough to let everyone know what we are planning and very little info until it's ready to launch.............

Thanks,
MKG

I'm 100% behind you, wish you nothing but the best. and I also have a cd that I will mail you soon. I will PM the detail once i'm ready. Good luck and much blessings.

So far everything I hear is awesome, and i would be an honor to take part in this, I know I am not as bigg as sum new skoolers are but I know music and I hear and listen to music and I would love to be apart of the committee for this project , my only conflict and issue is that I live in Rochester, NY, but I am always willing to make sacarfices, especially for sumthing this bigg, I have done it for the last 8 years and will keep on doing my part as an artist and a song writer, I think everyting that has been said is true and positive, lets keep it that way, this will take sum serious thinking and bonding and communication, ect.ect. and I am willing to voice my opinion on anything and everything, let me know what I can do in my part like I said if u need me in the city I am there for whatever reason , Ricky Vaz

Hi Ricky,

We are not just looking for people in NYC. We rather have them from other states like PA,TX,CA, and any other states that this music could make a big impact. I'm in NY so it's covered here. Tony G is in Florida.. With technology, we can be on the other side of the world..

Once we are ready to get the committee together, we will PM you so you can tell us a little about yourself and all that good stuff. We don't want to give to much info as I did give enough to everyone at CF to take notice and digest.. I could write a book and maybe get a book deal with all that I wrote today,,LMAO...

Peace

you guys have been writting stuff on how to bring our music back or keep it alive for as long as ive been coming to this site. and for as long as that. I ve been saying you guys or all of us have been going about it all wrong. even the attack plan is wrong even the goals are wrong. and even the over all mission is wrong.

the idea should be now how to spread freestyle. thats a waiste of time. in fact we dont need to spread it.

the idea has always been in front of our noses by the way.

How to consolidate freestyle. how to get to know our members in a deep way. how to create which what ive always been saying almost til im blue in the face.

How to create a core,. Core Core Core dam it a core

of people,. 100 500 maybe a 1000. that are like the great full dead. dead heads who follow there band all around etc,.

disco,.,. disco goers will go to a concert in freeking alaska if they had one,.

the same core,., !!!

Niel diamond,..,.,

he has a core of people that follow him to the end of the earth,.

if you ask anyone in this website to travel to connticut lol ? ,.,. need i say more,..

lol,.

you need an iron core of 100 too 1000 people who can support the music.., with our without any public interest or interest.

and then wed be in business big time. but if for example.

Im ray a singer ,..,and i sang tears may go up my ass.,.,

and i say to everyone here.,.,

i want all of you in this club 100 miles away this friday i need 2000 people?

dont think id even get 20.,,.

and theres your problem,..

not cd's not producers,..,

not this not that,..,

once you get a core,.,.

better yet

a traveling core.,., all the rest would just fall like chips into place,.

ray

but

untill your able to consolidate this core of people. krystal betty boop chuck me for example hitman jack g enigma etc,.

thats your core lets face it your foot soilders. untill your able to consolidate them. and maybe 30 or 100 others. a create a strong core. one that can travel. and especially support.

thats the main problem support the djs prod singers,.

youll still be coming here 10 years later. saying you know man i got this idea that idea.

you need a strong hard core. why

cuase that core could make a bad nite at the club for the singer look great lollll,.

that core traveling core,.,. could buy some drinks,.., spread some cards etc.,

anyway you get the point.

we should target our efforts to getting together much more than anything else.

once we got a data base of over 200 or 300 tri state people,., who can be here or there.

then we talk cd's and anything else.

like the hooosers. no team of mine will shoot the ball untill we pass the ball three times. the othet team is bigger were smaller so will run them to death.

sorry was wathcing hoosers last nite lol

hickory!

llloll..,

telling you core man,..

or else were waisting time

you make a good point we got to create a buzz agian for freestyle then get a team a strret team to help with pr work its do able

yeah hitman

i'll never drop my oringal point or theme. and that is the reverse of what everybody thinks. and that is freestyle does not need to spread. it just needs a strong core. thats it. and in order to create it we have to i.d. what is the main enemies freestyle has.

and its not the ones you think?

the main enemies freestyle has is not rap or producers or clubs. or money

it's

"WKSDHWM"

Work

Kids

Schedule

Distance

Husbands

Wives

Motivation.

and so if you get around that?

you create the core ive always been talking about 500 to 1500 strong. that can be anywhere aytime on a rotating basis. etc,.

but untill we get there?

dont even bother with fanasty ideas,,.

and that is the flat out truth Ruth lol

its just basically a test on how much you belive in brining back our music. cuase it would take a sacrifice to get around that stuff. but it can be done. i mean dead heads do it. neil diamond people do it? theyre in there 40's ! lol 50's !

who else? the disoc people if there was a concert in Bagdad tommorow would spit out

1000 people that could go in bullet proof jackets,..,llllllolll.,.,,.

etc,.

thats the core we need??

anything else waiste of time arooo

in fact that would make the cd's and all the other stuff almost trivial cuase theyd be bought anyway,., cuase of the core we'd have?

lol

and you know out of that list the

real toughest ones is schedules. or number one excuse. work and distance. what we have to do is concentrate all our fire power. on these topics. how to orginize people works schedules. thats the number one enemy. lol,..,

next schedules. the next bail out everyone uses. then distances. thats an actual problem. lol,. but once we got over that then we have the beg of a strong core. and then wed find more people for that core. to "substitute" when one of these guys could nt show up.

then eventually get our traveling data base into at least 1000. then things be cooking.

but imagine the amount of dedication at this age would be staggering. but it could be done. but you know we need leaders.

But more than anything we need to get off this god dam machine !!!!!!

lol

start working on the excuses. the issues,.,. what ever sob stories why you cant make it. that would take 3 months or so. then by then youd be going.

and start meeting each other.., more often or will never get anywhere.

its that simple?

All I have to say is "Wait & See".. I can't reveal our plan of attack. All I can say is if everyone waited all these years, another 7-9 months will not kill them. You have a valid point but we ARE NOT trying to bring freestyle back, we are set to bring awareness to our music and culture. I never stated that it will only be Freestyle because as long as we have the "I love you and you left me" records, the majority of people that were fans are tired of it and jumped into Hip Hop and now, Reggaeton. Neil Diamond is a superstar and his music changes but always keeps his style and that is why he is "Neil Diamond".. I also clearly stated that is was going to be a promotional tour and that we will weed out the bad stuff. I have heard some recordings and said to myself, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS... Will a major label or better yet a label in the 80's like Cutting, West End, Sleeping Bag, Emergency, Prelude and other labels that wanted quality not quantity put out these records??.. Serious, I'm not out to bash any artist or producer but please, get vocal lesson.. You want to invest is something, start with vocal lessons and I'm sure if you are good enough that a producer will say 'WOW", they will do it on spec... You will not have to pay a producer. I don't do work for hire cause I want quality on my records and my name is going on that record so my reputation is more important then money. I have even taken credit on a record then money.. record labels that jerked me but saying, we forgot to put your name on and I never received any money (these were 3 records that were HITS). OK, Tear Shed was not the best sounding vocal but it became a hit, why?? because all the kids were able to relate to the song and sing it. I've come a long way from vocals being off key to being on point and in TUNE.. That is why I will never do a artist "work for hire" and I have been approach hundreds of times and each time I would day "NO".. If the artist is good enough, the producer knows he will get paid from the record label because the record is that damn good, if not, we add it to our collection and maybe one day pull it from the shelve and update it. It’s the LOVE for music..

I hope I did not mislead anyone by saying i was god and will bring freestyle back.. My goal is to bring back music that deserves the chance to make it to mainstream.. I don't want those to think that the records that were put out with horrible vocals or production will be part of this U.N.I.T.Y. 2006.. Everyone has plenty of time to go out and get the proper training like the PROS do. That is and was the problem with freestyle, everyone thought they were a superstar and the fans are not professionals to say, the vocals were flat or sharp and out of tune.. That takes years or work to get that professional ear. I'm still learning and I've been in the game for 25 years (including my DJ years).. So don't take negative but something to make you think and say, I never thought of that.. TAKE THE VOCAL LESSONS.. Even if the vocals are tight and slamming and the production or song is wack, you will find the right producer and song because you are that good now.. OK, haters. Begin the bashing or be professional about it and take it as a food for thought and stop being negative.. Rome eas not build in 1 day.. Everything takes time and I'm giving my time and many others who will be on this project for FREE......We are not looking to make money, we simply looking to bring our music to mainstream.. Salsa & Menegue already did it.. It's being played all over the world.. Not just Latin America.. Japan, Isreal should I continue...It finally received it's OWN Emmy award show for only LATIN...This did not take a few years, it took probably about 30 years or more... I rest my case and will not touch on this again. All I would say is “time will tell”.. I even said in the beginning of this thread that we will get some negative reaction and people saying, yeah, yeah, we heard that before… DID YOU HEAR THAT FROM ME?? NO!! I don’t sit and watch shit happen, I make shit happen. That is why I gave it a good time frame and I did not say, YEAH, this summer we will have this thing going. I’m being realistic and know it will take time.. Anything else that I would touch on this matter is very minor updates and short responses to valid and questions that myself or Tony (and the new members, T.B.A.) will respond to. We will not respond to any negative or “ I heard that shit already” post..
Much love to all,
MKG

There's an EXCELLENT book titled "This Business of Music" by M. William Krasilovsky.. It's the music industry bible. Everything you wanted to know about the biz is in the book..

Do a search in Amazon.com

I have so many other books and I will post the ones that I feel are very important and that can help with your career in the music biz..

As you can see, I have love for everyone and i always answer emails (maybe a few days late, but i have a retail business and production biz, my wife and 4 children) so I'm pretty busy compared to back in the FUN days...lol

Thanks for posting that information,I actually own that book and any many more.Just like school days you can have a book and read through and still gain nothing from it,You have to understand what you read and not be stubborn and listen to what some people have been through in the industry and learn from their mistakes.Alot of artist say "oh that wont happen to me" and that is a mistake I made ..,,In my case the artist/producers stepped out side themselves and lended some valuble advice that I will be forever grateful for..I be looking at artist like Ashley/Nu-image/fred nice that have their own ascap license who are ceos of their music. That is what I admire ...I have been going to school full time and my major is in marketing so I hope that it will also help me in my future career in music or if that doesnt work out I would love to help others ...I live mad far from the heart of freestyle but believe me I am in Cleveland and it's in clubs everywhere I go ..I think all of you who want to see something good out of this genre or even evolving sub genres to freestyle would be mad cool ..I guess well see what the future holds ...
