There's a rap song from the mid 1980's with the Inspector Gadget theme in it, and it's not the Doug E Fresh's The Show that I'm looking for, there is another song with the theme in it. Should not be to hard to figure out...Let me know....Adam
It's called Inspector Gadget and is by the Kartoon Krew. I picked the 12" single up a few years ago for .25 cents. along with thet Pee Wee Herman Rap by Joeski Love. 😉
I just listed to a sample of the Kartoon Krew - Inspector Gadget, and that is not the song, this song, at the begining has a female talking, saying something like, you better watch out, those boys are out to get ya, I tell you, while playing the inspector gadget theme, and then the song goes into a beat with guys rapping.....Any clues?? Adam
definitely not the fat boys. I'll check the 12" single I have, and see if any of the versions start out that way. I'm pretty sure it's by the Kartoon Krew, but I definitely know and remember the song you're talking about. If that's not the one that I have on 12" single, then I know I have it on tape some where and will try to find out if it's by another group.
DAMN, Memorys I compleatly forgot!! Might of been the LA Dream Team. They always did songs like that , with beats involving the smurfs and giligans Island.
They don't talk about Inspector Gadget, in the song I'm talking about, it just haves the theme in parts of the song. So I don't think the title is Inspector Gadget, Somebody told a long time ago the it's something like OSR Badboys, When I did research on google and record stores (Gemm) etc. I get nothing...Let me know......Thanks.....Adam
Okay ladies and gentlemen....I got it......Ada..you are right...it's not Kartoon Krew like I thought. It's by the BAD BOYS. Unfortunately I only have it on tape from the radio, but it's a great song. Boy, you got me reminiscin' with this one. :lol Good luck finding the 12" single buddy. 😉
I think I found it on gemm the artist is Bad Boys, and the Title is too, it says 1985 Rap, early hiphop. I also have it somewhere recorded off the radio. Those were the days when rap was great, (Real Rap) Kid N Play - Rollin' With Kid 'N Play (Oh La Oh La Eh), and E.U. - Da Butt, were also some great rap tracks. Thats neat that the old late 70's Electro song Kraftwerk - Trans Euro Express went perfect with all the early rap music..Thanks....Adam
