man,i was at the 93.1 concert last night, i saw it from all angles, back stage, v.i.p terrace at the American ailines arena, it was all good.

rockell kicked ass. and actually, when she performed, about 100 people, opened a back door from the street leading to the terrace and a mob of people started running in. security had to run in and stop everyone. we were escorted back to the vip. but all this just happened as she performed "In a dream". guesse they couldnt hold back.

CLUB CRYSTAL........on 5th street,south beach.

A former website that i used to write for (i cant mention it, cuz then jack will spaz,lol) with mega 103.5 (the station who brought down all the freestyle artist for freestyle fridays and freestyle month)

tonight friday...Johnny O, Cynthia and coro..on stage. mixing will be the original rythm 98 dj (yes that was before the hot 105 days) jorge ojeda (sound of destiny,ten lion, destune records). will be spinning REAL freestyle, not just the comercial stuff. im talking hard to find, ghetto fab , bass in your face, electro funk and latinhiphop classics.

and anyone who is anyone will be there.....the whole industry in miami.

OH, i forgot. there is one more guest....lol.

they called me..cuz they want me to interview tha artist (cuz the show will be recorded and there is talks about lisencing the show to diferent parts of the world...since this will turn into a monthly event. next month there is alarger line up). there is even talks that party 93.1 , will compete with mega to cover and sponcer the future events.

BUT, i have also been asked to mc (present the artist as they come on stage and anything else) the show...so i said why not.

this is going to get out of hand. people who know me ...oh man, just show up.lol.

so im asking everyone tooo go out, get drunk, get loud and show up to the club. it will be like the hieleah spring fest and cop aid concerst,like back in the day.........but with out the shoot outs!

and tommorow,, club ozone, south miami (NOT SOUTH BEACH) us 1 and red road behind the gas station. THE GAY CLUB IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH!. for rockell

i too grew up with the miami style,everything from the old radio stations like rythm 98 to i-95 too and power 96 (the early years) that's why i got in the radio busn..i support anything and everything freestyle....so you can count on me bieng there.........vapro:cynthia :lilsuzy :safire :nyasia

I just spoke to Johnny O a little while ago and he is sp exited about tonight! ANTHONY "FREESTYLE LOVER" will be there tonight as well!

and by the way, to day 070502 is my friend's birthday, his name is randy, and he wrote that song "In A Dream" and is now working on his new project, well he isn't working today hehe

this wekend was a good weekend in miami.

Do to the fact that i found the venue cheesy and many people involved with the show, camera crew etc had to pay for parking and had a really dificult time.........i told jorge ojeda that i was cool with not to mc. so that bald guy with a pony tail on stage was not me.

I am latino, 25, 5'5, baby face and told im cute.
i was wearing all black, in case you were there. i dress like i belong at level, crobar and space...and venues like that. venues i would be doing business with. so one more time...i did not mc...that was not me on stage!!!!!!!

(i dont wear kakis on stage , especailly CHANKLETAS).

but to the point... all the shows in miami whent well,party 93 at bongos, crystal on friday, and ozone on saturday.

Rockell kiked ass on both thursday and saturday.
(oh my god...she s like a fag hag..i love it). she even danced with the crowd after her show saturday).

Cynthia is a sweetheart.out of all the people i have met, cynthia is the sweetest person i have ever come across.
coro is was really cool, though one of his dancers, some chic, gave attiturde to one of my people, who was part of the camera crew.
(all i have to say.........SHE DID NEED RELAXER ON THAT HAIR!!!!!)you dont wana know how she came out on the video tape,lmao.
see, even if your a dancer, you should be nice to people.
sometimes, you make your whole company look bad.

nelson ffwd cruz was theres, performed "baby Dont Go" in spanglish. that was cool and a surprise.

johnny o was johnny o. but it was cool to see cynthia and him do "dream boy Dream girl". rockell was in town, damn she missed that!


well, that was about all i have to say about this past weekend, well the good things.

actually i like "in a dream" by jossete, due to the fact that it sounds..it has that underground feel and is closer to what miami had back in the day.. those horns. my god. when rockell re-did it, you can tell it was cleaned up. i like rockells version too.
sometimes i dont like when the records are cleaned up too much...then they sound fabricated and lose that rif, thet edge.

HEY I WAS THERE ON FRIDAY I LOVED THE SHOW AND YES CINDY IS A CLASS ACT I HAVE KNOWN HER FOR YEARS.... IT WAS SUCH A GREAT SHOW AND ITS NICE TO SEE CORO COME DOWN BUT THE HIGHLIGHT WAS WHEN CYNTHIA AND JOHNNY PERFORMED DREAMBOY/DREAMGIRL ..... I HAVE TO SAY I HAD A GREAT TIME.
