In the summer time, do you wear sandals or any form of shoe that is semi open? I've heard of men who just won't wear anything like that in the summer. It's not masculine to them. What about you? :smirk

I normally don't, but not because I think they are not "masculine". I just don't like wearing sandals, flip flops, or whatever. In the summer, I wear sneakers.
 
depends on my mood. usually i'll wear sandals... but sometimes i throw on some sneakers...

i have to admit that...yes, i wear sandals...but i don't see the big deal. i don't know what u would call them though....i guess the thong kind??? where the strap is between your big toe and 2nd toe. i don't find it feminine at all...i think they are very cool.

Hmmmm.......I'm very comfortable with wearing open toe shoes, designer sandals, and nice flip flops.......plus I am VERY comfortable with my feet- because they look good and I take care of them (nails, skin, and everything else). Plus, certain footwear looks good with certain clothing......but I rarely where sneakers unless I'm going dancing.

BUT, I have a thing with looking at guys feet. Like, I love dudes with nice feet, but I cringe when I see dudes with (like Nyasia said) ET toes....busted ass toe nails and all that shit in between....I mean that's sick. If you can spend 15 minutes on your hair and face, spend 15 on doing a self pedicure. I think I have a mild case of Foot Fetish. Shhhhhhhhhhhh....
 
This topic reminds me of an interview that I saw Corina do on tv. I think it was for "The Box" video channel.

she was talking about summer clothes and summer stuff to promo her video for "Sumertime Summertime".

and at one point she says......

"I know that when you go to the beach, the first instinct is to wear sandals. Now, if you have nasty feet, corns, bunions, and other nasty stuff, please DO NOT wear sandals. In fact, I'd perfer it if you wore boots."

I wear my Puerto Rico chancletas the whole summer long. By the end of the summer I have a tan line on my feet that looks like a big giant Y, kind of like when girls would wear jelly shoes back in the days LOL. But man are those flip flops comfortable.
 
some guys look nice. but please I beg of you go get a pedicure first!!! get them feet where we can look at them! let me tell you I had a homeboy who got a pedicure every week on his feet and let me tell you I was quite impressed. a man who knows not to have ugly feet and wear sandals is a okay in my book.
