I've been looking for ages for a song by a group from the Sixties. For back then, this would be considered a pretty hardcore lyric: "What does it take to whip you into life? A broken heart? A broken head? It can be arranged."
I want to think it was the group Blue Cheer who did it, but I can't be sure.
