omigod i tried to darken my bleach blonde hair to light brown and the shit turn greenish! so i had to dye it medium brown, now, my fried ends are darker than the rest of my hair! omigod! does anyone here know anything that might speed up the fadeing of hair dye???:crap Help

Sexxe! that's what I was goign to say, you need to tone it first!.lol I remember when my hair was pitch balck and I tried to make it red, I had three different colors in my hair! I look like a peacock!.lol Sexxe girl, glad you on the board, for these hair emergencies!😉
 
if you wanna fade the colour wash your hair with herbal essence clarifying shampoo and use really HOT water, as hot as you can handle so it'll open up the hair and let the colour out. If you're willing, use Palmolive dish detergent instead of the shampoo. Use a lot. Wash rinse and MOST DEFINITELY REPEAT!

After you do that a few times, lather it up into your hair, saran wrap it and then cover it with a turban towel or whatever and turn the blow dryer on. Keep another towel handy cause coloured soapy suds will trickle down your neck. After you've done that a few times, the colour should be mostly stripped away.

Which will leave your hair dry and brittle, so repeat the whole saran wrap process only use conditioner this time to fortify your hair. That will help get rid of the colour, TRUST ME I know. I was gonna use liquid tide but the fiancé wouldn't let me.

the detergent will strip the colour.. if she just did it the salon will not be able to help her for at least a week, she has to let her hair calm down from the chemicals.

Just wash it out with the dish detergent, and no fancy crap, plain old palmolive will work and as hot water as you can take.

When no more colour washes out of your hair, do a deep conditioning treatment and it will restore your hair. Trust me I know.
 
thankx. my hair isnt that bad now. ive been washing it over and over.its already starting to tone down.i just dont like how dark it is. shit at least it aint black like it used to be. I dyed my hair from my natural color light brown to black once. omigod, it was awful!my hair is totally fried. lol thankx everyone for your help 🙂

u guys are lucky...u can always shave it off.. u should have seen my hair when i was 14 years old, when i died it black,😱 i missed allot in the back, it was tiger striped. i had to redye it. i hated it! i missed all these days of school because i was sooo embarrsed! i swear once u dye your hair, the natural color's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ed! unless you shave your head.:crap
 
Hey girl! I agree with SexxxE....I am a Master Stylist...been doing hair for 13 years, and I specialize in color. She is right. I recommend deep conditioning with Redken's ALL SOFT Heavy Cream if your hair is too dry from color. Its fantastic!!! But Im glad to hear its been fading. You can NEVER NEVER color your hair at home from light to dark or vice versa! Leave it to the pros! LOL

thanks, yeah i wanna go to hair school but i gotta get my GED first. ok i'll try the Redken stuff if i can find it. I just started using Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle. thats works real nice to. my hair is so damaged, im done dyeing it! it's probably gonna fall out next. lol thanks everyone 🙂
 
go to a Regis or Trade Secret salon...they will have the All soft by redken...in gold bottles.
