well like i said its all history now.

but 89 was a year,.,. to really fight off the scurge of hip hop., and tehcno house,.., and techno,., and rap,.,.

that it seemed to come out on pop and rock,.,. and freestyle from almost all sides,..

i still think freestyle was overun,.,., along with rock,.. and pop,.., took a thrashing

that year too i think,..,

i liked sweet sensation and all of your songs,.., esp i hold you tight i'll never let you go,..,

i think that was just a year,., to have really sceene the gathering threat..,., that turned,.., out to be

an unshering to a very dark musical decade.,,.lol,.. 90's,..

Or after 80's,.,.lloll,..,

that only now? we are beg to recover from,.., Ktu,,.'97 and up.. some concerts here some conerts there,..,

and the re emergence of the dance club sceene..,

but i tell you those years between 90 and 95 were as tuff as it gets,.,.,.

anyway

i'll go back to being greneda now

llllolll,..

Yessss Ms. Betty!
Well, all I have to say, "Sincerely Yours" was very, ...well..unique. It was a mix of many influences.
You had the Spanish guitars, Latin percussion, Freestyle beats, Dance-Pop Crossover feel, Romeo JD's rap which gave it it's R&B/Hip-Hop influence, Margie & Mari's/Sheila's harmonizing & chants, & Betty's sexy vocals, a "Spanish Version", along with a killer dance routine for the video & live shows, it was just a mix of many vibes. .........All in all, wether u precieve it as Freestyle or not, many remember it as a HIT.
In clubs,
On the radio,
Requests,
On the charts,
Sales,
Video countdowns, etc.

I beleive rbonuc29 may prefer the remix versions on the single as they were more darker freestyle & more "moody", & almost had a "Never Let You Go" feel.
There! & I am done. Punto y se' acabo! 🙂

Eh, personally I don't think you can compare the two, nor is one better than the other. Both tracks (Love Letter & Sincerely Yours) stand alone, and just because one was produced better and had more "feel" to it doesn't necessarily mean anything- that's all funding and label politics which equals, right.......bullshit.

In the case of Love Letter, I feel that the lack of quality makes it all the much more unique and interesting.

good explenation carlito

you wanna know something now that i think about it. i didnt even like live letter so much.

in 86. but i tell you what it pulled a heak of a sceene and its like what you say it had

such a unique sound. that that alone made it a hit.
