I HAVE A COPY OF LEGACY FROM 89' (INTERNATIONAL LATIN HOUSE RECORDS) AND YESTERDAY I GOT ANOTHER COPY FROM (D.J INTERNATIONAL RECORDS) WHICH CAME OUT IN 92'. THE SONG AND VOCALS ITSELF SOUND DIFFERENT IN EACH 12"... I PERSONALLY LIKE THE (INTERNATIONAL LATIN HOUSE RECORDS).. THE BEATS ARE MORE ORGINAL...AND WERE PRODUCED BY DIFFERENT PEOPLE.. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON LEGACY.. LET ME KNOW... THANKS ALOT!

The International Latin House version came out first. The cut featured Jesse Settle and Joel Rodriguez as "Latin Legacy" which was later shortened to simplt Legacy. This version was produced by Antonio Suarez, Jesse and Joel.

A couple of years later, Joel went solo and released "Prisoner of Love" on DJ International Records. The song featured Andrea Salazar of D'Zyre as well. Meanwhile, Jesse re-did "Girls" for DJ International with a new group featuring himself, Juanie (rapper) and Javi (sidekick). Tim Schommer and JJ Flores did the production work for the new version.

JJ also produced Joel's tune.
