To all you fellow freestyle whiz'.
Something I always wanted to know is if this song was in anyway influenced by Lisa Lisa's "I Wonder If I Take You Home". There are so many factors that lead me to believe so.
1. The drum beat starts off similar to "I Wonder If I Take You Home"
2. The girl in the background of the song is chanting "I Wonder".
3. The name of the song "Lisa's coming".
4. The robotic freestyle voice edits also similar to "I Wonder If I Take You Home"
My opinion is that this was The Latin Rascals continuation of Lisa Lisa's classic. This song being the conclusion of the original story-line that implies one to think that the girl really did end up in the guys home.
Either way, it's one of my favorite freestyle jams. It's one of those true freestyle classics. Very creative piece.
