And KTU isn't helping freestyle by playing just the old stuff.... they need to take a shot w/ the new stuff too
FreestyleTruth said:Brklyn - Yes, I know ktu played some new freestyle on Sundays. I listen every Sunday. DJ Johnny Budz played the new stuff in his mixshows. That wasn't KTU playing it. It was Johnny Budz. Answer this question, why is that mixshow no longer on ? Maybe he played too much new stuff that nobody wanted. From what I been told, the Sunday freestle show is doing great with the ratings since they dropped it to 2 hours. Whats that tell ya? People wanna hear the familiar classics.I remember not liking alot of the new freestyle he played. It was mostly cheese. I don't even hear him mix freestlye no more. he plays trance and breakbeats on ktu now, maybe nobody except for people on this website want to hear new freestyle. Its not at a demand no more. I can't even name a new freestyle song i like nowadays. Is there even new freestyle being made still ?
PhillyBronx- Orlando is about the #30 market in the country. Sure they can take risks. Plus KTU is owned by Clear Channel. It is the cheapest, most conservative company in the world. Sounds like you want KTU to cater to you the freestyle fan. Believe me, freestyle isn't at a demand no more. Doesn't sound like any station will be satisfactory to you. You people want freestyle on KTU 24-7. Plus, I never even heard 'eyes of a stranger". What label was it on ? Was it even released ???? did any other stations play it ?
