Ok, I need to vent. I know I haven't been around much the last 2 weeks, but that's cause things have been crazy and hectic with the new semester starting and my hours changing at work. But anyway, I'm just ready to scream cause these past 2 weeks of commuting have been absolute hell. As most of you know, I transferred to NYU last year, and since I live relatively close, I decided not to dorm and opt for commuting. Now sure there were somedays where the commute was bad, but for the most part, it was ok. I would either take the train and get off in the village and walk across town to class or I would take the bus into the city (which would leave me at Port Authority on 42nd) and then take the subway downtown. Anyway, to make a long story short, this year it seems to be as though it takes me longer to get t where I'm going and also more aggrevating. My first class is at 8am, and in order to be there on time I have to leave my house no later than 6. A two hour commute? WTF? It should take no more than an hour! And being that I have a short temper as is, you can just imagine how I feel by the time I actually GET to class. Then coming home is the same. I'm done with classes by 12 and have to back in Jersey at work by 1:30, and half the time I just barely make it. So I've been more bitchier than normal these past 2 weeks cause of commuting hell. If any others have commuter horror stories, feel free to post away. I'm just thinking it's only September and the semester isn't over till December, and that's a pretty long way to go. I better not start pulling my hair put over this, cause then I'll be bald by semester's end! LOL Thanks all for reading. I just needed to vent that out.
