When you think of most artists you think that they are unreachable. Let me tell you a story about a artist who is warm, caring, smart and very intellegent. His name is Johnny O and I consider him a very close friend and brother.
Johnny O has been in the music industry for many years. And he has experienced many ups and down in his career. But through it all he is still here with us and he is here to stay. And nothing can prove it more to me then when I had the privlage of spending a evening with him and some of his fans.
We had a rare opotunity to see Johnny O not just as a artist but also on how he spends his day to day life. We were able to meet his 2 gorgous daughters. And he demonstrated what a great father and role model he is and will be to his daughters. They are so proud of their father. Even though they might not be able to fully grasp what their father does. We showed them how much their dad is loved by many people. And with this video that we will be posting they will see how much he means to his fans.
We got a sneak peek into his new album that he is working on. I am very excited about this project he is working on and like I said on another post " The gates to heaven will open" because you have not herd music like this in to many years. As we were listening to his new tracks we couldnt stop dancing. You are going to need to see the video to understand the impact we felt when we herd the new songs. But like we discussed he will let his work speak for him. I say it already has and it will continue.
From there we go the club and to prove how much energy he has and how people just love him. We were at club 609 which is a pure hip hop club. Most of the crowd isnt into this kind of music. Johnny O comes on stage and the crowd is just mesmorized by his performance as you will see on the video. And by the end of that first song lets just say I estimate about 1000 new Johnny O fans just from that performance. He definetly has the energy to entertain and win you over with his hard work. And Friday night Nov 30 was no exception.
During the evening we had a couple of surprises. One being Tito Puentes jr joining coming and showing love and support for johnny. And as always it is great seeing him. It is a true testiment to how much Johnny O's music crosses all over the world. Towards the end of the evening there was a small incident with a Dumb DJ that we wont even mention.
In conclusion I want to say that off all the performers I have meet none have taken the time to connect to their fans the way johnny O has. When he says he wished he can give hugs to every one of his fans and shake their hands and thank them he means them. He is a true testament of a true loving caring person and the best human being I have ever meet. Johnny O my brother thank you for being such a insperation to me and many others. You are a great performer and no wonder you have so many loyal fans. From me to you I want to say thank you brother for being you.
