I think it's the La Girls "No tears" it is a blue label record. Sorry I was not much help but I do recall the song. Good Luck it was a small independent label...

There must be 2 versions then, I just heard the connie version, and though the lyrics are the same, the artist isn't. Kind of like that Rockell and Josette deal with "In A Dream" I'm still trying to find the non-connie version, though connie's might be the original. "No Tears" was remade by a male group called 'The Revue' (IMHO, their version is better than Connie's).
