That's why I prefer the term "Freestyle". Speaking of rap in Freestyle, they usually suck. My favorite rap in a Freestyle song tho, is the one in the "Look Into My Eyes" Remix.
I also like the way Legacy says, "Stay with me tonight, baby, so we can bang to the boogity beat."
"Can't let you go my love
You fit me like a glove
Cause when you hold me tight
The feelings oh so right
Just can't forget those times
When you were mine all mine
This love I had for you was true
So come on back to the one that loves you"
For some reason it just irritates me. It always has, I dunno why though.
yeah, thats because there isnt much rap in freestyle. maybe thats why they chaned the name later on? i was expecting answers like: well 2 without hats is considered freestyle and they had rap goin' on stuff like "the breeze" etc..
I never liked the term Latin Hip Hop. For me Latin Hip Hop is Los Marijuanos, Kinto Sol, Lil Rob. Freestyle sounds like a geeky word. I use the word Heart Throb instead. But on these boards I know youse are mostly all from the Tri- State area so I go with the flow. Besides the newer music doen't sound like Heart Throb so I will just call it Freestyle. Nuff Said
I know youse don't like it but alot of Chicago artists use rap in their songs: D'zyre, Legacy, First Class, Sandi Castillo, In Effect, Joel, Sperock & Fantasia. I think it's all good but then again I liked Hip House before Freestyle came around so I guess I was used to it.
I think Delicious ment I Know You Want Me, By "Menage"
I think the rap in that song is among the worst, it reminds me of the early Eurodiscodays, Captain Hollywood, Culture Beat n stuff like that.
I think the rappers should stay away from Freestylesongs.
exactly mangas. everytime i go to a music stor and i ask if they have any freestyle cds they automatically think that i am referring to rap itself or that i wanna dance or some shit. its also bad for its recognition.
