im just curious.all day today ive seen so many mexican flags today, like everyone celebrating a holiday, today. im trying to fiqure out what it is.im just a dumb white girl,lol.or am i just flipping out? lol:huh
 
Well I heard it was Latin Heritage Month because George Lamond performed today at the South Street Seaport at 1pm and that was the ocassion. So Yep! I think so! 😉
 
well during these days like u been seein on the streets the mexicans are celebrating their independance and they have this time where they celebrated it with food and music and everything where traditionally in mexico u see that alot but here in the states some do it that way but not all but um....about the flags is just somethin they like to show to represent their culture thats all

so im not even mexican myself, im dominican and i know this cuz i have neighbors who are mexicans who live where im at and they told me about this
 
Mexican independance day is the 16th, maybe people are just starting early.

LABETTYBOOP! My niece performed there! the groups name is "Los Salseritos" from "LA SALSA DE HOY " studios she usually dances in the front with the guy, she is the smallest petite one there, with long black hair, and tan caramel skin. she is a beauty.

SHe met George Lamond there and he gave her his autograph, my sister told him she was my niece, he told my sister to tell me to stop riding motorcycles!.lol deja que yo lo coja..lol anyway, my niece called me and told me he had beautiful teeth!..lol me thinks she is infatuated with Mr. Lamond😉

The Mexican Flag is made of three main colors; green, white, and red. These colors all symbolize something and have an important part in the celebrations. The green is on the left side of the flag and symbolizes independence. White is the color in the middle of the flag and symbolizes religion. The red is on the right side of the flag and symbolizes union. These colors are used often in decorating for the Mexican Independence Day fiesta.
