Let's think about this question...I don't mean is Freestyle dead in the literal sense, because if it was you wouldn't be here right now reading this thread. The question is meant more along the lines of Freestyle gaining support on mainstream radio and undoing the damage done to our music over the last decade by a slew of god awful, wanna be Freestyle recordings (the reason why radio shunned us in the first place). Most of the new Freestyle being released today may be good enough to satisfy the Freestyle fans who crave new music, but it is still being overlooked by radio and major labels...
I honestly don't see Freestyle undoing it's stigma of being the "bastard child of dance" music. I know I will get blasted by some of the members that have a hard on for me - that's ok. It is expected...
Let's face it - Freestyle will never get back up off of it's feet. It is destined to remain underground for the remainder of it's life...
