SAME OLD SONG

NO ONE SEEMS TO LISTEN TO THE TRUTH. WHO THE HELL NAMED DANCE MUSIC FREESTYLE. NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER THIS? WHY? YOU KNOW WHY BECUASE NO ONE REALLY KNOWS. JOEY GARDNER THE KING OF FREESTYLE PLEASE I HARDLY THINK SO. BAMBATTA THE KING OF FREESTYLE., YES.

JOEY DID THE PUFF DADDY THING BEFORE PUFFY DID I MEAN P.DIDDY.

NO DISRESPECT TO JOEY OR TKA BUT YO THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH

THE DANCE MUSIC BIZ IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE IN TROUBLE UN LESS ARTIST AND PRODUCERS GET OFF THE BAND WAGON AND START MAKING SMASH HITS AGAIN.

RADIO PROGRAMMERS NEED HOT NEW MUSIC TO ATTRACT NEW LISTENERS AND KEEP THE OLD ONES HAPPY.

P.S. WHO EVER GOT THIS FAR YO MUSIC IS UNIVERSAL !!! PEACE!

exlpain what afirika bambatta has to do with all this please!!!!....i would like to hear you elaborate on that further...when did he ever make a "freestyle song" renegades of funk ..looking for the perfect beat thats all early rap... if anything bambatta is a pioneer of hip hop....not freestyle...and who ever said that joey gardner was the only representation of freestyle??..besides all that what are you talking about???🙄radio programers what do they have to do with the evolution of freestyle????

😱

TAEZEE EDUCATION TIME

OK TAE, SO U CAN'T READ BETWEEN THE LINES..SO I WILL BREAK IT DOWN TO U STEP BY STEP.

AFRIKA BAMBATTA PRODUCED A SONG CALLED "PLANET ROCK" AND WE ALL KNOW HOW MANY PRODUCERS REPRODUCED THAT SONG FOR ARTISTS FOR INSTANCE, LIL SUZY "TAKE ME IN YOUR ARMS" WHICH WAS A HUGE HIT IN '91 AND I LOVE THE SONG.

SO WITH THIS IN MIND, HOW MANY OF WHAT U CALL FREESTYLE SONGS DERIVED FROM THE PLANET ROCK SOUND? DOZENS!!
WHICH TOLD ME THEN AND TELLS ME NOW THAT THESE PRODUCERS WERE NOT REALLY PRODUCERS THEY WERE JUST REMIXERS THAT ADDED NEW SOUNDS TO MAKE IT SOUND DIFFERENT.

DON'T GET ME WRONG, THERE WERE ALOT OF HITS THAT HAD ORIGINAL BEATS AND ORIGINAL MUSIC...THAT'S NOT THE POINT.

THE POINT IS THAT EVERYONE IS TRYING TO BE SO OPINIONATED ABOUT THE TKA FOREVER ALBUM AND NONE OF YOU CAN ANSWER THIS ONE QUESTION "WHO ADDED FREESTYLE TO DANCE MUSIC?" I WANT A SPECIFIC NAME. BECAUSE U MUST BE ABLE TO NAME THE FOUNDER OF FREESTYLE AND DO NOT TELL ME IT WAS TKA OR LISA LISA OR GEORGE LAMOND OR EXPOSE'.

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT YOUNG MAN....I HOPE THIS IS CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU BECAUSE I WILL NOT ELABORATE FURTHER...UNLESS SOMEONE TELLS ME WHO THE FOUNDING FATHER OF FREESTYLE IS.

AND YOU'RE RIGHT COOK HERC AND AFRIKA BAMBATTA ARE THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF HIP HOP NOT RAP. RAP WAS A BILLBOARD STATEMENT YEARS AGO.

elear....just cause someone said they liked the album it doesnt mean they are ass kissing...i said i liked it, and believe me i am a far from an ass kisser!!!!!

anyway i will be the first to say they left freestyle and it was done in the worst way at the worst time...i liked the album cause there is a group of songs i like...one or two of them i can consider some what in the freestyle genre...believe me if anybody is looking for a freestyle album they need to look elsewhere....i mean 4 songs is a lot more then i expect to like...i mean its no louder then love/scars of love album...i knew and still know all the words to those albums...every song was good...i am not going to say that on this album...but i will give them credit they came out with a few good ones...i mean i feel the songs with the house feel like feel the music, better then the rest...and the ballads werent that strong...but there are good songs on there...i will not say its all bad...pick up the album or download some things...you will get what i am saying

WHAT DO YOU WANT ELEAR

DO YOU WANT ANOTHER SCARS OF LOVE,TEARS MAY FALL,MARIA.YOU SEEM TO BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO IS LIVING IN THE 1986-1992 ERA IT IS OVER SO GET OVER IT MAN. THE NEW TKA ALBUM IS SLAMMIN AND YOU DONT HAVE TO SOUND DRUGGED UP TO ENJOY THE ALBUM. SURE THE MUSIC MAY NOT BE LIKE THE PREVIOUS ALBUMS BUT THEY ARE FAR FROM SELLOUTS!!!!! JUST BECAUSE YOU DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT DOESNT MAKE YOU A SELLOUT

And another thing....Explain To Me How Do You Go From Songs Like " Give Your Love To Me....Tears May Fall...And So Forth " To This Sh*t.....Dont Try And Tell Me That Yous Are " Keepin Up With The Times "...Listen 2 The Words And Style Of Those Songs..Then Listen 2 The New Sh*t...🙄

hmm..I really don't see the big issue..you either like the cd and u buy it..or u dont and u dont buy it..who cares what style it is or what they had in mind when they were recording it. yall are too intense 🙂

Rosco...Its 1 Thing 2 Be Different....But Dont Sit There And Tell Me Its Freestyle When It Has Nothing In Any Way To Do With Freestyle. Come On Bro...
And Another Thing....This Pisses Me Off Beyond Belief.
WHEN IN THE HELL DID ANYONE SAY FREESTYLE MUSIC WAS WACK CUZ OF ITS BEATS? OR WACK CUZ ITS OLD AND NOT IN STYLE?
Yous Dont Know Why Freestyle Really Died Out Of NY...Dont Sit There And Tell Me Sh*t Like You Know. Freestyle Was Respected And Pumped Because It Was Original And U Felt It. People Who " Are Real " Will Stay True And Others Will Follow...Thats How Life Goes...
Im Not Even Getting Further Into This Cuz I Always Bring Controversy To This Bulletin Board. Lets Just Say As Anyone Else Who Knows Me. They Know I Never Once Spoke From A View Of Just A Fan...I Know A Little More Than The Average Fan. And I Will Tell U That " TKA Are Sellouts " OR " TKA Did This Album In This Way Because Joey Gardner Didnt Support This Album "

i have to agree with elear....everyone is like the new sound...that is old and in the past...i am sorry that is the basis of freestyle...and if you guys are knocking it then i dont know if you are true freestyle fans...if u are standing behind your group that is one thing...but PLEASE dont knock freestyle because of that...i mean i am a freestyle fan first...thats just the way it is...you cant tell me that a whole diffrent sound is evolving for freestyle just cause one group is doing it...dont down freestyle because of it....i mean these freestyle artists are all expanding into other genres...do we embrace each genre as a new sound for freestyle...george lamond had done some things in salsa...do we consider salsa as a new sound for freestyle???? NO we dont...i dont think anyone should consider this album like that...and i dont think anyone should say this is how freestyle evolves...its far from it...they said they didnt want to put out a freestyle album and they didnt...just leave it alone...like the album cause u like it, just dont apply it to freestyle!!!!!

OK OK I FEEL WHAT ALL OF U ARE SAYING

I'M SEEING ALOT OF HATE CONCERNING ONE THING:
WHO STARTED FREESTYLE MUSIC?
SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT GROUP OF MEN OR WOMEN LABLED DANCE MUSIC FREESTYLE? IS THERE A FOUNDING FATHER? WHAT IS IT?

LISTEN, THE WAY I SEE IT HOWEVER IT CAME ABOUT, IT HAS STUCK LIKE GLUE TO MOST OF YOU FREESTYLERS.

FORGIVE ME FOR THIS QUESTION BUT I'M JUST LOOKING TO SEE WHO CAN ANSWER THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION WITHOUT INCLUDING ANY GROUPS IN YOUR ANSWER.

becuase planet rock beats started being looped on freestyle tracks in the late eighties early ninties..that makes bambatta the founding father? you actually had the audacity to ask me to sit down cuase i was gonna get a lesson in music from you?..and then to try to condensed me by referring to me as young man...?first off no clue what youre talkin about or more importantly who you are talkin too..when i refer to people on here all day long playing freestyle police and ranting about how its supposed to be and professing to be so knowledgable as to preach on others im talking about YOU you are a prime example..and as for the founding fathers of freestyle..its not just one person or group..but many individuals and groups and influences that blended to form a type of dance that soon had coined the name freestyle...just as at around that same time another type of dance music was forming which would wind up being called house which incorporated alot of its beats from disco (so what does that mean that the bee gees are the forefathers of house?) you also speak of the planet rock theory as if that were a good thing...when everybody started using that track it marked the decline of freestyle so your THEORY it may be said that actually bambatta killed freestyle and not created it..and lastly go back and do your homework YOUNG MAN becuase in order to teach you need to have knowledge to share..when you try to teach bullshit people can tell right away what that smell is..start out be going to the lobby at the top left is a section describing what freestyle is and a condensed history..happy reading.....

Please people, there are no right answers to your questions. Just how life is sometimes. Judge the music by what it is and not by what it's suppose to be. Limit your expectations down to zero for a minute. Take your mind off that this is TKA thats singing and just go with the music. You'll be surprised.

Taezee...I Have No Clue Who Ur Directing That To...But...1 Thing I Wanna Know Is...How Could Afrika Bambadda Made Freestyle Decline When Freestyle Wasn't Even Out Yet? that Song Came Out Around 83 84 And The Only Person Who Had A Hit That Wasn't Even Considerd " Freestyle " At The Time...Was Shannon.
So Help Me Out if You Can 😕

elear..i was actually referring to mj swans staement that afrika bambatta was one of the founders of freestyle..(which is not correct) making a point of that absurdity by saying if anything he was responsible for its decline (not directly just the fact that everyone started to use planet rock..understand?) once everybody started putting out garbage songs with the planet rock beat which was (probably in the hundreds) in the early 90's marked the decline of freestyle..and on that note im done with this subject...theres alot more important things happening in the world for me to be wasting anymore energy on this...alot of new yorkers again have died this morning in yet another tragedy...
