Just found this forum yesterday and I'm very happy to see such a large community supporting Freestyle!
I have been searching for something like this for years.... let me explain.
In the late 80's I was given a tape from a friend well the years went by and I lost contact with this friend and also this tape. I couldn't remember the artists nor the song titles and worst yet I didn't even know the genre. I could hum a few songs but that really didn't help when asking people if they know this song 😉 I remembered that one of the artists was from Florida so that's were I started searching the other night. It just came to me to search Florida Dance Music. Well after hours I got to this site and there at the top of the screen and in the URL was the genre. FREESTYLE! Now I knew the name of the genre of the artists and songs that I loved from this one mix tape I had received years ago but never could forget. It was haunting me for years and I couldn't rest until I found these artists again.
Well I did a search for Freestyle Music and found many great song listing and tried listening to samples online and there they were!!! The artists on the mix tape.
Sa-Fire, Cynthia, TKA, Stevie B., Rockell, Cover Girls and so many more!
Well I rushed out to the store and bought 7 CD's in one day...it's great to find something you're looking for and have no clue when and where you'll find it.
Also, found out there is a great Freestyle movement in Canada which is where I'm from so I bought all the Freestyle Heaven CD's 1-5.
** With finding all of these great artists and songs I am still missing something. ***
Okay this is what I'm looking for. Any great non-stop Freestyle DJ mixes. Now I would like the ones that go from song to song to song very fast. Love the mixing. When a DJ can get almost 3-4 parts of different songs playing at once...wow!
So if you have something for download (I can pay...I'm not into just getting things for free) or have this on CD send me your info and let's hook up. Also, if anyone knows some good CD's I can order that has like 30-50 songs on one mix then I'm in. I know about some collections but I am looking at some of the best DJ's in this Genre.
I have downloaded a few DJ Mixes but would like to know the best of the best!
