DO you think there is a difference when a guy tells you "love ya" and when he tells you "I Love You"?
to me "love ya" is more like something between friends.
 
yea i think you r right. love ya is so genral. love you is special.

another question then. if they tell you "I love you" too much, do you think it's authentic every time, or would you say that the word is being used too freely?
 
if the words "i love you" are used too much, i think it loses its value... cause its like ok honey im off to work..i love you and then 15 minutes later he calls you to say i jsut wanted to say i love you and then lunch time he does the same.... you get my point.. those words must be cherished.... like every night before you go to sleep or when you are holding each other in public...

I think when someone says "love ya", it is more of a friendly, non-commital, kind of thing. I agree with you guys. I Love You, sounds more heartfelt and sincere. And yes, I think the more it is used, the more it loses its sincerity.
I also know that there is no other, more beautiful feeling than having someone you have fallen in love with, tell you they love you for the very first time****SIGH****
 
well it can get to be just somethin you say to shut the other person up. lol. i hope it's not the case but ya know some peeps.

i think it should be said in person and at the end of the day b4 bed.
 
Lamondfan I have to agree with you totally. Love ya is more what i will tell a friend, I LOVE YOU is something I will tell someone I truly love. I know for a fact that when you fall in love with someone and they tell you out the blue that he loves you too, there is nothing more beautiful or precious than that.

I cant get enuff of hearing it or saying it to those I care deeply about. Especially when u just dont know if that may be the Last time u express those words.. U know?

I feel that ricanlips.......but like everyone else has said love ya' is for the friends and i love you is for that special someone......
 
I have to agree with everyone here. love ya is for your friends and I LOVE YOU is for that special person in your life.

It's so great when the person that you love, tells you out of the blue and in the middle of nowhere (in public when your just holding hands, or something like that) I LOVE YOU, you feel it in your :hpound and your :hpound just wants to burst. That's really wonderful.
 
"I Love You" has become very cheap to me it only means something if its backed up by action and not the action u folks might be thinking what i mean is when one goes out of the way to do something for you with out even being asked or if they do something special thats unexpected

Nice post Bella, very good insight everyone. I think love is Love when it comes from the person you love, regardless on how it may have been said. It's better than hearing " Aight>cool> or the ever famous>>ME TOO. Love is Love, most people wish they can get a "L" out of anyone. Be thankful for the Love, God knows we have enough "HATE" going on.
